Hagiography
Nahum the prophet: he was from Elkesin, beyond the Jordan, in Begabar, of the tribe of Simeon.
2After Jonah, this man gave a sign concerning Nineveh, that it would be destroyed by sweet waters and earthly fire; which also came to pass.
3For the lake that surrounds it, in an earthquake, and fire coming from the wilderness, burned all its higher parts.
4And Nahum died in peace, and was buried in his own land, Begabar.
