Hagiography
Simeon the priest: he was of the tribe of Aaron.
2He was divinely warned by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death until he should see the Christ in the flesh.
3He took up the Lord into his own arms.
4And he glorified God, saying: "Mine eyes have seen your salvation.
5Now you release your servant, Master, according to your word, in peace."
6And he died, and was buried near the priests, an old man full of days.
