I rested on the Spirit of the Lord; And (the Spirit) raised me on high:
2And made me to stand on my feet in the high place of the Lord; Before His perfection and His glory; While I was praising (Him) by the composition of His odes.
3(The Spirit) brought me forth before the face of the Lord. And although a Son of Man, I was named the Luminary, the Son of God:
4While I was the most glorified among the glorious ones; And the greatest among the great ones.
5For according to the greatness of the Most High, so she made me; And like His own newness He renewed me:
6And He anointed me from His own perfection; And I became one of those that are near to Him;
7And my mouth was opened like a cloud of dew; And my heart gushed out, as it were, a gush of righteousness;
8And my access (to Him) was in peace: And I was established in the Spirit of Providence. Hallelujah.
