Odes de Salomão 36

1Repousei sobre o Espírito do Senhor; E (o Espírito) me elevou:

1I rested on the Spirit of the Lord; And (the Spirit) raised me on high:

2E fez-me ficar de pé no lugar alto do Senhor; Diante da sua perfeição e da sua glória; Enquanto eu (o) louvava pela composição das suas odes.

2And made me to stand on my feet in the high place of the Lord; Before His perfection and His glory; While I was praising (Him) by the composition of His odes.

3(O Espírito) trouxe-me à face do Senhor. E embora Filho do Homem, Fui chamado a Luminária, o Filho de Deus:

3(The Spirit) brought me forth before the face of the Lord. And although a Son of Man, I was named the Luminary, the Son of God:

4Enquanto eu era o mais glorificado entre os gloriosos; E o maior entre os grandes.

4While I was the most glorified among the glorious ones; And the greatest among the great ones.

5Pois segundo a grandeza do Altíssimo, assim ela me fez; E como a sua própria novidade ele me renovou:

5For according to the greatness of the Most High, so she made me; And like His own newness He renewed me:

6E ungiu-me da sua própria perfeição; E tornei-me um dos que estão perto dele;

6And He anointed me from His own perfection; And I became one of those that are near to Him;

7E a minha boca foi aberta como uma nuvem de orvalho; E o meu coração jorrou, por assim dizer, um jorro de justiça;

7And my mouth was opened like a cloud of dew; And my heart gushed out, as it were, a gush of righteousness;

8E o meu acesso (a ele) foi em paz: E fui estabelecido no Espírito da Providência. Aleluia.

8And my access (to Him) was in peace: And I was established in the Spirit of Providence. Hallelujah.
