1 Clemente 26

1Pensamos, então, que é coisa grande e maravilhosa se o Criador do universo realizar a ressurreição dos que O serviram com santidade na certeza de uma boa fé, visto que nos mostra, mesmo por uma ave, a magnificência da Sua promessa?

1Do we then think it to be a great and marvelous thing, if the Creator of the universe shall bring about the resurrection of them that have served Him with holiness in the assurance of a good faith, seeing that He showeth to us even by a bird the magnificence of His promise?

2Pois diz em certo lugar: E Tu me levantarás, e Te louvarei; e: Deitei-me para repousar e dormi, acordei, porque Tu estás comigo.

2For He saith in a certain place And Thou shalt raise me up, and I will praise Thee; and; I went to rest and slept, I was awaked, for Thou art with me.

3E de novo Jó diz: E Tu levantarás esta minha carne, que suportou todas estas coisas.

3And again Job saith And Thou shalt raise this my flesh which hath endured all these things.
