1 Coríntios 3

1E eu, irmãos, não pude vos falar como a espirituais, mas como a carnais, como a meninos em Cristo.

1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

2Com leite eu vos criei, e não com alimento sólido, porque não podíeis; nem mesmo agora ainda podeis;

2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

3porque ainda sois carnais. Pois, havendo entre vós inveja, brigas, e divisões, por acaso não sois carnais, e andais fazendo conforme o costume humano?

3For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

4Porque dizendo um: “Eu sou de Paulo”, e outro: “Eu sou de Apolo”, por acaso não sois carnais?

4For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

5Ora, quem é Paulo, e quem é Apolo, senão servidores, pelos quais crestes, conforme o Senhor deu a cada um?

5Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

6Eu plantei; Apolo regou; mas foi Deus quem deu o crescimento.

6I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

7De maneira que nem o que planta é algo, nem o que rega; mas sim Deus, que dá o crescimento.

7So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

8E o que planta e o que rega são um; mas cada um receberá a sua recompensa segundo o seu trabalho.

8Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

9Porque somos cooperadores de Deus; vós sois a plantação de Deus, o edifício de Deus.

9For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

10Segundo a graça de Deus que me foi dada, eu, como sábio construtor, pus o fundamento; e outro edifica sobre ele; mas cada um veja como edifica sobre ele.

10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

11Pois ninguém pode pôr fundamento diferente do que já está posto, o qual é Jesus Cristo.

11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12E se alguém sobre este fundamento edificar ouro, prata, pedras preciosas, madeira, feno, palha,

12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13a obra de cada um se manifestará; porque o dia a esclarecerá; pois pelo fogo se descobre; e qual é a obra de cada um, o fogo fará a prova.

13Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14Se a obra de alguém que construiu sobre ele permanecer, receberá recompensa.

14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15Se a obra de alguém se queimar, ele sofrerá perda; porém o tal se salvará, todavia, como que passado pelo fogo.

15If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

16Não sabeis vós, que sois o templo de Deus? E que o Espírito de Deus habita em vós?

16Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17Se alguém destruir o templo de Deus, Deus ao tal destruirá; porque o templo de Deus é santo, o qual sois vós.

17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

18Ninguém se engane; se alguém entre vós nestes tempos pensa ser sábio, que se faça de louco, para que seja sábio.

18Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

19Pois a sabedoria deste mundo é loucura para Deus; porque está escrito: Ele toma aos sábios pela sua própria astúcia.

19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

20E outra vez: O Senhor conhece os pensamentos dos sábios, que são vãos.

20And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

21Portanto ninguém se orgulhe em seres humanos; porque tudo é vosso,

21Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

22seja Paulo, seja Apolo, seja Cefas, seja o mundo, seja a vida, seja a morte, seja o presente, seja o futuro; tudo é vosso.

22Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

23Mas vós sois de Cristo; e Cristo, de Deus.

23And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.
