5Os filhos de Jafé foram: Gômer, Magogue, Dadai, Javã, Tubal, Meseque, e Tiras.

5The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

6Os filhos de Gômer: Asquenaz, Rifate, e Togarma.

6And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

7Os filhos de Javã: Elisá, Társis, Quitim, e Dodanim.

7And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

8Os filhos de Cam: Cuxe, Misraim, Pute, e Canaã.

8The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

9Os filhos de Cuxe: Sebá, Havilá, Sabtá, Raamá, e Sabtecá. E os filhos de Raamá foram: Sebá e Dedã.

9And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

10E Cuxe gerou a Ninrode: este começou a ser poderoso na terra.

10And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.

11Misraim gerou aos ludeus, aos ananeus, aos leabeus, aos leabeus, aos naftueus,

11And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

12Aos patrusitas, e aos casluítas (destes saíram os Filisteus), e os caftoreus.

12And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.

13E Canaã gerou a Sidom, seu primogênito; e a Hete;

13And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,

14E aos jebuseus, aos amorreus, aos girgaseus;

14The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

15Aos heveus, aos arqueus, ao sineus;

15And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

16Aos arvadeus, aos zemareus, e aos hamateus.

16And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

17Os filhos de Sem foram: Elão, Assur, Arfaxade, Lude, Arã, Uz, Hul, Geter, e Meseque.

17The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

18Arfaxade gerou a Selá, e Selá gerou a Héber.

18And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

19E a Héber nasceram dois filhos: o nome do um foi Pelegue, pois em seus dias a terra foi dividida; e o nome de seu irmão foi Joctã.

19And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.

20E Joctã gerou a Almodá, Salefe, Hazarmavé, e Jerá,

23Ofir, Havilá, e a Jobabe: todos filhos de Joctã.

24Sem, Arfaxade, Selá,

25Héber, Pelegue, Reú,

27E Abrão, o qual é Abraão.

28Os filhos de Abraão foram: Isaque e Ismael.

37Os filhos de Reuel: Naate, Zerá, Samá, e Mizá.

37The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38Os filhos de Seir: Lotã, Sobal, Zibeão, Ana, Disom, Eser, e Disã.

38And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

39Os filhos de Lotã: Hori, e Homã: e Timna foi irmã de Lotã.

39And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.

40Os filhos de Sobal: Aliã, Manaate, Ebal, Sefi e Onã. Os filhos de Zibeão foram: Aiá, e Aná.

40The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.

41Disom foi filho de Aná: e os filhos de Disom foram Hanrão, Esbã, Itrã e Querã.

41The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

42Os filhos de Eser foram: Bilã, Zaavã, e Jaacã. Os filhos de Disã: Uz e Arã.

42The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.

43E estes são os reis que reinaram na terra de Edom, antes que reinasse algum rei sobre os filhos de Israel: Belá, filho de Beor; e o nome de sua cidade era Dinabá.

43Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

44Belá morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Jobabe, filho de Zerá, de Bozra.

44And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

45Jobabe morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Husão, da terra dos Temanitas.

46Husão morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Hadade, filho de Bedade, o qual feriu aos midianitas no campo de Moabe; e o nome de sua cidade era Avite.

47Hadade morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Sanlá, de Masreca.

47And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

48Sanlá morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Saul de Reobote, que está junto ao rio.

48And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

49E Saul morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Baal-Hanã, filho de Acbor.

50E Baal-Hanã morreu, e reinou em seu lugar Hadade, cuja cidade tinha por nome Paí; e o nome de sua mulher era Meetabel, filha de Matrede, a filha de Mezaabe.

50And when Baalhanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

51Hadade morreu. E os príncipes em Edom foram: o príncipe Timna, o príncipe Aliá, o príncipe Jetete,

51Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,

52O príncipe Oolibama, o príncipe Elá, o príncipe Pinom,

52Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

53O príncipe Quenaz, o príncipe Temã, o príncipe Mibzar,

53Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

54O príncipe Magdiel, o príncipe Irã. Estes foram os príncipe de Edom.
