1 Crônicas 4

1Os filhos de Judá foram: Perez, Hezrom, Carmi, Hur, e Sobal.

1The sons of Judah; Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.

2E Reaías, filho de Sobal, gerou a Jaate; e Jaate gerou a Aumai e a Laade. Estas são as famílias dos Zoratitas.

2And Reaiah the son of Shobal begat Jahath; and Jahath begat Ahumai, and Lahad. These are the families of the Zorathites.

3E estas são as do pai de Etã: Jezreel, Isma, e Idbás. E o nome da irmã deles era Hazelelponi.

3And these were of the father of Etam; Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi:

4E Penuel foi pai de Gedor, e Ézer pai de Husá. Estes foram os filhos de Hur, primogênito de Efrata, pai de Belém.

4And Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah, the father of Bethlehem.

5E Asur, pai de Tecoa, teve duas mulheres: Helá, e Naará.

5And Ashur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.

6E Naará lhe gerou a Auzão, Héfer, Temeni, e a Haastari. Estes foram os filhos de Naará.

6And Naarah bare him Ahuzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the sons of Naarah.

7E os filhos de Helá foram: Zerete, Zoar, e Etnã.

7And the sons of Helah were, Zereth, and Jezoar, and Ethnan.

8E Coz gerou a Anube, e a Zobeba, e as famílias de Aarel, filho de Harum.

8And Coz begat Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.

9E Jabez foi mais honrado que seus irmãos; sua mãe o chamara de Jabez, dizendo: Pois com dores eu o dei à luz.

9And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.

10Mas Jabez invocou ao Deus de Israel, dizendo: Ah, se tu me abençoares muito, e ampliares os meus limites, e se tua mão for comigo, e me protegeres do mal, para que eu não sofra! E Deus fez suceder o que ele havia pedido.

10And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

11E Quelube, irmão de Suá gerou a Maquir, que foi o pai de Estom.

11And Chelub the brother of Shuah begat Mehir, which was the father of Eshton.

12E Estom gerou a Bete-Rafa, Paseia, e a Teína, pai da cidade de Naás; estes foram os homens de Reca.

12And Eshton begat Bethrapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Irnahash. These are the men of Rechah.

13Os filhos de Quenaz foram: Otniel e Seraías. Os filhos de Otniel: Hatate e Meonotai.

13And the sons of Kenaz; Othniel, and Seraiah: and the sons of Othniel; Hathath.

14E Meonotai gerou a Ofra; e Seraías gerou a Joabe, pai dos moradores do Vale dos Artesãos, porque foram artesãos.

14And Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab, the father of the valley of Charashim; for they were craftsmen.

15Os filhos de Calebe, filho de Jefoné foram: Iru, Elá, e Naã; e filho de Elá foi Quenaz.

15And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh; Iru, Elah, and Naam: and the sons of Elah, even Kenaz.

16Os filhos de Jealelel foram: Zife, Zifa, Tíria, e Asareel.

16And the sons of Jehaleleel; Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.

17E os filhos de Ezra foram: Jéter, Merede, Efer, e Jalom. E sua mulher também deu à luz a Miriã, Samai, e a Isbá, pai de Estemoa.

17And the sons of Ezra were, Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon: and she bare Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.

18E sua mulher Judia lhe deu à luz a Jerede pai de Gedor, a Héber pai de Socó, e a Jecutiel pai de Zanoa. Estes foram os filhos de Bitias, filha de Faraó, a qual Merede teve por esposa.

18And his wife Jehudijah bare Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. And these are the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh, which Mered took.

19E os filhos da mulher de Hodias, irmã de Naã, foram: o pai de Queila o garmita, e Estemoa o maacatita.

19And the sons of his wife Hodiah the sister of Naham, the father of Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.

20E os filhos de Simeão foram: Amnom, Rina, Ben-Hanã, e Tilom. E os filhos de Isi foram: Zoete, e Ben-Zoete.

20And the sons of Shimon were, Amnon, and Rinnah, Benhanan, and Tilon. And the sons of Ishi were, Zoheth, and Benzoheth.

21Os filhos de Selá, filho de Judá foram: Er, pai de Leca, e Lada, pai de Maressa, e as famílias da casa dos trabalhadores do linho em Bete-Asbeia;

21The sons of Shelah the son of Judah were, Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of them that wrought fine linen, of the house of Ashbea,

22Como também Joquim, os homens de Cozeba, Joás, e Sarafe (os quais dominaram sobre os moabitas), e Jasubi-Leem. Estes registros, porém, são antigos.

22And Jokim, and the men of Chozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who had the dominion in Moab, and Jashubilehem. And these are ancient things.

23Estes foram oleiros, e habitavam em Netaim e Gedera; eles ficaram ali com o rei em sua obra.

23These were the potters, and those that dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his work.

24Os filhos de Simeão foram: Nemuel, Jamim, Jaribe, Zerá, Saul;

24The sons of Simeon were, Nemuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, and Shaul:

25Cujo filho foi Salum, cujo filho foi Mibsão, cujo filho foi e Misma.

25Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.

26Os filhos de Misma foram: seu filho Hamuel, cujo filho foi Zacur, cujo filho foi Simei.

26And the sons of Mishma; Hamuel his son, Zacchur his son, Shimei his son.

27E Simei teve dezesseis filhos e seis filhas, porém seus irmãos não tiveram muitos filhos, e toda a sua família não se multiplicou tanto como a dos filhos de Judá.

27And Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters; but his brethren had not many children, neither did all their family multiply, like to the children of Judah.

28E habitaram em Berseba, Moladá, Hazar-Sual,

28And they dwelt at Beersheba, and Moladah, and Hazarshual,

29E em Bila, Ezém, Tolade,

29And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,

30Betuel, Hormá, Ziclague.

30And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,

31Bete-Marcabote, Hazar-Susim, Bete-Birai, e em Saaraim. Estas foram suas cidades até quando Davi começou a reinar.

31And at Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusim, and at Bethbirei, and at Shaaraim. These were their cities unto the reign of David.

32E suas aldeias foram: Etã, Aim, Rimom, e Toquém, e Asã, cinco cidades;

32And their villages were, Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, five cities:

33E todas as suas aldeias que estavam ao redor destas cidades, até Baal. Estas foram suas habitações, e suas genealogias.

33And all their villages that were round about the same cities, unto Baal. These were their habitations, and their genealogy.

34Porém Mesobabe, Janleque, Josias filho de Amazias;

34And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah the son of Amaziah,

35Joel, Jeú filho de Josibias, filho de Seraías, filho de Asiel;

35And Joel, and Jehu the son of Josibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel,

36E Elioenai, Jaacobá, Jesoaías, Asaias, Adiel, Jesimiel, Benaia;

36And Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah,

37E Ziza filho de Sifi, filho de Alom, filho de Jedaías, filho de Sinri, filho de Semaías.

37And Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah;

38Estes registrados por seus nomes foram os líderes de suas famílias, e que foram multiplicados muito nas casas de seus pais.

38These mentioned by their names were princes in their families: and the house of their fathers increased greatly.

39E chegaram até a entrada de Gedor, até o oriente do vale, buscando pastos para suas ovelhas.

39And they went to the entrance of Gedor, even unto the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.

40E acharam pastos férteis e bons, e a terra era espaçosa, quieta, e descansada, porque os de Cam tinham habitado ali antes.

40And they found fat pasture and good, and the land was wide, and quiet, and peaceable; for they of Ham had dwelt there of old.

41Estes, pois, que foram escritos por seus nomes, vieram nos dias de Ezequias rei de Judá, e derrubaram as tendas e habitações dos que se acharam ali, e os destruíram até hoje; e habitaram ali em seu lugar, porque ali havia pastos para suas ovelhas.

41And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents, and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly unto this day, and dwelt in their rooms: because there was pasture there for their flocks.

42Também alguns deles, quinhentos homens dos filhos de Simeão, se foram ao monte de Seir, levando como capitães a Pelatias, Nearias, Refaías, e a Uziel, filhos de Isi;

42And some of them, even of the sons of Simeon, five hundred men, went to mount Seir, having for their captains Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi.

43E mataram os que haviam restado dos amalequitas, e habitaram ali até hoje.

43And they smote the rest of the Amalekites that were escaped, and dwelt there unto this day.
