1 Enoque 13

1E Enoque foi e disse: Azazel, não terás paz; uma severa sentença saiu contra ti, para te pôr em cadeias.

1And Enoch went and said: ‘Azâzêl, thou shalt have no peace: a severe sentence has gone forth against thee to put thee in bonds:

2E não terás tolerância, nem te será concedido pedido algum, por causa da injustiça que ensinaste, e por causa de todas as obras de impiedade, e de injustiça, e de pecado que mostraste aos homens.

2And thou shalt not have toleration nor request granted to thee, because of the unrighteousness which thou hast taught, and because of all the works of godlessness and unrighteousness and sin which thou hast shown to men.’

3Então fui e falei a todos eles juntos, e todos tiveram medo, e o temor e o tremor os apanharam.

3Then I went and spoke to them all together, and they were all afraid, and fear and trembling seized them.

4E rogaram-me que redigisse uma petição por eles, para que achassem perdão, e que lesse a sua petição na presença do Senhor do céu.

4And they besought me to draw up a petition for them that they might find forgiveness, and to read their petition in the presence of the Lord of heaven.

5Pois dali em diante não podiam falar com ele, nem levantar os olhos ao céu, por vergonha dos seus pecados, pelos quais tinham sido condenados.

5For from thenceforward they could not speak with Him nor lift up their eyes to heaven for shame of their sins for which they had been condemned.

6Então escrevi a sua petição, e a oração a respeito dos seus espíritos e das obras de cada um, e a respeito dos seus pedidos, para que tivessem perdão e longura de dias.

6Then I wrote out their petition, and the prayer in regard to their spirits and their deeds individually and in regard to their requests that they should have forgiveness and length.

7E fui e me assentei junto às águas de Dã, na terra de Dã, ao sul do ocidente do Hermom; li a sua petição até adormecer.

7And I went off and sat down at the waters of Dan, in the land of Dan, to the south of the west of Hermon: I read their petition till I fell asleep.

8E eis que me veio um sonho, e visões caíram sobre mim, e vi visões de castigo; e veio uma voz mandando-me contá-lo aos filhos do céu e repreendê-los.

8And behold a dream came to me, and visions fell down upon me, and I saw visions of chastisement, and a voice came bidding me I to tell it to the sons of heaven, and reprimand them.

9E, quando despertei, fui ter com eles, e estavam todos sentados, reunidos, chorando em Abelsjail, que fica entre o Líbano e Seneser, com os rostos cobertos.

9And when I awaked, I came unto them, and they were all sitting gathered together, weeping in’Abelsjâîl, which is between Lebanon and Sênêsêr, with their faces covered.

10E contei diante deles todas as visões que tinha visto no sono, e comecei a falar as palavras da justiça e a repreender os Vigilantes celestiais.

10And I recounted before them all the visions which I had seen in sleep, and I began to speak the words of righteousness, and to reprimand the heavenly Watchers.
