1Desde os dias da matança, e da destruição, e da morte dos gigantes, de cujas almas da carne os espíritos, tendo saído, destruirão sem incorrer em juízo — assim destruirão até o dia da consumação, o grande juízo em que o século será consumado, sobre os Vigilantes e os ímpios; sim, será inteiramente consumado.

1From the days of the slaughter and destruction and death of the giants, from the souls of whose flesh the spirits, having gone forth, shall destroy without incurring judgement—thus shall they destroy until the day of the consummation, the great judgement in which the age shall be consummated, over the Watchers and the godless, yea, shall be wholly consummated."

2E agora, quanto aos Vigilantes que te enviaram a interceder por eles, que antes estiveram no céu, dize-lhes:

2And now as to the watchers who have sent thee to intercede for them, who had been aforetime in heaven, say to them:

3Vós estivestes no céu, mas nem todos os mistérios vos tinham sido revelados ainda, e conhecestes mistérios sem valor, e estes, na dureza dos vossos corações, os destes a conhecer às mulheres; e por estes mistérios as mulheres e os homens fazem muito mal sobre a terra.

3“You have been in heaven, but all the mysteries had not yet been revealed to you, and you knew worthless ones, and these in the hardness of your hearts you have made known to the women, and through these mysteries women and men work much evil on earth."

4Dize-lhes, pois: Não tendes paz.

4Say to them therefore: “You have no peace.”’

5E, quanto ao monte sobre o qual juraram e se obrigaram com imprecações mútuas, o frio, e a neve, e a geada, e o orvalho não se apartarão dele, e nada descerá sobre ele que não seja amaldiçoado, até o dia do grande juízo; então será queimado e abatido, e derretido como a cera diante do fogo, e todas as suas obras serão consumidas pelo fogo.

5And concerning the mountain on which they swore and bound themselves by mutual imprecations: cold and snow and hoar-frost and dew shall not depart from it, and nothing shall come down upon it save it be accursed, until the day of the great judgement; then it shall be burned and brought low, and melted like wax before the fire, and all its works shall be consumed by fire.

6E agora vos digo, filhos dos homens: há grande ira contra vós e contra os vossos filhos, e esta ira não cessará de vós até o tempo da matança dos vossos filhos; e os vossos amados perecerão, e os vossos honrados morrerão de sobre toda a terra; pois todos os dias da sua vida, desde agora, não serão mais que cento e vinte anos; e não penseis que vivereis mais; não há para eles caminho de escape, por causa da ira com que o Rei de todos os séculos está irado contra vós. Não penseis que escapareis destes juízos.

6(And now I say unto you, children of men, there is great wrath against you and against your sons, and this wrath shall not cease from you until the time of the slaughter of your sons; and your beloved shall perish, and your honoured ones shall die from off the whole earth; for all the days of their life from this time forth shall not be more than a hundred and twenty years; and think not that ye shall live longer: there is no way of escape for them, because of the wrath with which the King of all the ages is angered against you. Think not that ye shall escape these judgements.)
