1Dali fui a outro lugar, ao ocidente dos confins da terra.
1From thence I went to another place to the west of the ends of the earth.
2E vi um fogo ardente que corria sem descanso, e não parava no seu curso, nem de dia nem de noite, mas corria regularmente.
2And I saw a burning fire which ran without resting, and paused not from its course day or night but ran regularly.
3E perguntei, dizendo: Que é isto que não descansa?
3And I asked saying: ‘What is this which rests not?’
4Então Raguel, um dos santos anjos que estava comigo, me respondeu e me disse: Este curso de fogo que viste é o fogo do ocidente, que persegue todos os luzeiros do céu.
4Then Raguel, one of the holy angels who was with me, answered me and said unto me: ‘This course of fire which thou hast seen is the fire in the west which persecutes all the luminaries of heaven.’
