1E dali fui para o sul, aos confins da terra, e vi ali três portais do céu abertos; e dali vêm o orvalho, a chuva e o vento.

1And from thence I went to the south to the ends of the earth, and saw there three open portals of the heaven: and thence there come dew, rain, and wind.

2E dali fui para o oriente, aos confins do céu, e vi aqui os três portais orientais do céu abertos, e pequenos portais acima deles.

2And from thence I went to the east to the ends of the heaven, and saw here the three eastern portals of heaven open and small portals above them.

3Por cada um destes pequenos portais passam as estrelas do céu e seguem o seu curso para o ocidente, pelo caminho que lhes é mostrado.

3Through each of these small portals pass the stars of heaven and run their course to the west on the path which is shown to them.

4E, todas as vezes que eu via, bendizia sempre o Senhor da Glória; e continuei a bendizer o Senhor da Glória, que operou grandes e gloriosas maravilhas, para mostrar a grandeza da sua obra aos anjos, e aos espíritos, e aos homens, para que louvassem a sua obra e toda a sua criação; para que vissem a obra do seu poder, e louvassem a grande obra das suas mãos, e o bendissessem para sempre.

4And as often as I saw I blessed always the Lord of Glory, and I continued to bless the Lord of Glory who has wrought great and glorious wonders, to show the greatness of His work to the angels and to spirits and to men, that they might praise His work and all His creation: that they might see the work of His might and praise the great work of His hands and bless Him for ever.
