1E depois disso vi milhares de milhares e dez mil vezes dez mil; vi uma multidão sem número e sem conta, que estava diante do Senhor dos Espíritos.

1And after that I saw thousands of thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand, I saw a multitude beyond number and reckoning, who stood before the Lord of Spirits.

2E aos quatro lados do Senhor dos Espíritos vi quatro presenças, diferentes dos que não dormem, e aprendi os seus nomes; pois o anjo que ia comigo me deu a conhecer os seus nomes e me mostrou todas as coisas escondidas.

2And on the four sides of the Lord of Spirits I saw four presences, different from those that sleep not, and I learnt their names: for the angel that went with me made known to me their names, and showed me all the hidden things.

3E ouvi as vozes daquelas quatro presenças, enquanto proferiam louvores diante do Senhor da glória.

3And I heard the voices of those four presences as they uttered praises before the Lord of glory.

4A primeira voz bendiz o Senhor dos Espíritos para todo o sempre.

4The first voice blesses the Lord of Spirits for ever and ever.

5E a segunda voz ouvi bendizendo o Escolhido e os escolhidos que dependem do Senhor dos Espíritos.

5And the second voice I heard blessing the Elect One and the elect ones who hang upon the Lord of Spirits.

6E a terceira voz ouvi orar e interceder pelos que habitam na terra e suplicam em nome do Senhor dos Espíritos.

6And the third voice I heard pray and intercede for those who dwell on the earth and supplicate in the name of the Lord of Spirits.

7E ouvi a quarta voz afastando os satãs e proibindo-os de vir diante do Senhor dos Espíritos para acusar os que habitam na terra.

7And I heard the fourth voice fending off the Satans and forbidding them to come before the Lord of Spirits to accuse them who dwell on the earth.

8Depois disso perguntei ao anjo da paz que ia comigo, que me mostrou tudo o que está escondido: Quem são estas quatro presenças que vi e cujas palavras ouvi e escrevi?

8After that I asked the angel of peace who went with me, who showed me everything that is hidden: ‘Who are these four presences which I have seen and whose words I have heard and written down?’

9E ele me disse: Este primeiro é Miguel, o misericordioso e longânimo; e o segundo, que está posto sobre todas as doenças e todas as feridas dos filhos dos homens, é Rafael; e o terceiro, que está posto sobre todos os poderes, é Gabriel; e o quarto, que está posto sobre o arrependimento para a esperança dos que herdam a vida eterna, chama-se Fanuel.

9And he said to me: ‘This first is Michael, the merciful and long-suffering: and the second, who is set over all the diseases and all the wounds of the children of men, is Raphael: and the third, who is set over all the powers, is Gabriel: and the fourth, who is set over the repentance unto hope of those who inherit eternal life, is named Phanuel.’

10E estes são os quatro anjos do Senhor dos Espíritos e as quatro vozes que ouvi naqueles dias.

10And these are the four angels of the Lord of Spirits and the four voices I heard in those days.
