1E depois disso vi todos os segredos dos céus, e como o reino é dividido, e como as ações dos homens são pesadas na balança.

1And after that I saw all the secrets of the heavens, and how the kingdom is divided, and how the actions of men are weighed in the balance.

2E ali vi as moradas dos escolhidos e as moradas dos santos, e os meus olhos viram ali todos os pecadores que negam o nome do Senhor dos Espíritos sendo expulsos dali e arrastados; e não podiam permanecer, por causa do castigo que procede do Senhor dos Espíritos.

2And there I saw the mansions of the elect and the mansions of the holy, and mine eyes saw there all the sinners being driven from thence which deny the name of the Lord of Spirits, and being dragged off: and they could not abide because of the punishment which proceeds from the Lord of Spirits.

3E ali os meus olhos viram os segredos do relâmpago e do trovão, e os segredos dos ventos, como são divididos para soprar sobre a terra, e os segredos das nuvens e do orvalho; e ali vi de onde procedem naquele lugar e de onde saturam a terra poeirenta.

3And there mine eyes saw the secrets of the lightning and of the thunder, and the secrets of the winds, how they are divided to blow over the earth, and the secrets of the clouds and dew, and there I saw from whence they proceed in that place and from whence they saturate the dusty earth.

4E ali vi câmaras fechadas, das quais os ventos são repartidos, a câmara da saraiva e dos ventos, a câmara da névoa e das nuvens; e a sua nuvem paira sobre a terra desde o princípio do mundo.

4And there I saw closed chambers out of which the winds are divided, the chamber of the hail and winds, the chamber of the mist, and of the clouds, and the cloud thereof hovers over the earth from the beginning of the world.

5E vi as câmaras do sol e da lua, de onde procedem e para onde tornam a vir, e o seu glorioso retorno, e como um é superior ao outro, e a sua majestosa órbita, e como não deixam a sua órbita, e nada acrescentam à sua órbita, e nada lhe tiram, e guardam fidelidade um ao outro, conforme o juramento pelo qual estão ligados.

5And I saw the chambers of the sun and moon, whence they proceed and whither they come again, and their glorious return, and how one is superior to the other, and their stately orbit, and how they do not leave their orbit, and they add nothing to their orbit and they take nothing from it, and they keep faith with each other, in accordance with the oath by which they are bound together.

6E primeiro sai o sol e percorre o seu caminho segundo o mandamento do Senhor dos Espíritos; e poderoso é o seu nome para todo o sempre.

6And first the sun goes forth and traverses his path according to the commandment of the Lord of Spirits, and mighty is His name for ever and ever.

7E depois disso vi o caminho escondido e o visível da lua, e ela cumpre o curso do seu caminho naquele lugar de dia e de noite, um ocupando posição oposta ao outro diante do Senhor dos Espíritos. E dão graças e louvam, e não descansam; porque para eles a sua ação de graças é descanso.

7And after that I saw the hidden and the visible path of the moon, and she accomplishes the course of her path in that place by day and by night—the one holding a position opposite to the other before the Lord of Spirits. And they give thanks and praise and rest not; For unto them is their thanksgiving rest.

8Porque o sol muda muitas vezes para bênção ou para maldição, e o curso do caminho da lua é luz para os justos e trevas para os pecadores, no nome do Senhor, que fez separação entre a luz e as trevas, e dividiu os espíritos dos homens, e fortaleceu os espíritos dos justos, no nome da sua justiça.

8For the sun changes oft for a blessing or a curse, And the course of the path of the moon is light to the righteous And darkness to the sinners in the name of the Lord, Who made a separation between the light and the darkness, And divided the spirits of men, And strengthened the spirits of the righteous, In the name of His righteousness.

9Porque nenhum anjo o impede, e nenhum poder é capaz de impedir; pois ele designa um juiz para todos eles, e os julga a todos diante de si.

9For no angel hinders and no power is able to hinder; for He appoints a judge for them all and He judges them all before Him.
