1A sabedoria não achou lugar onde pudesse habitar; então lhe foi designada uma morada nos céus.

1Wisdom found no place where she might dwell; Then a dwelling-place was assigned her in the heavens.

2A sabedoria saiu para fazer a sua morada entre os filhos dos homens, e não achou morada; a sabedoria voltou ao seu lugar e tomou assento entre os anjos.

2Wisdom went forth to make her dwelling among the children of men, And found no dwelling-place: Wisdom returned to her place, And took her seat among the angels.

3E a injustiça saiu das suas câmaras; a quem não buscava, achou, e habitou com eles, como a chuva no deserto e o orvalho na terra sedenta.

3And unrighteousness went forth from her chambers: Whom she sought not she found, And dwelt with them, As rain in a desert And dew on a thirsty land.
