1 Enoque 49

1Porque a sabedoria é derramada como água, e a glória não falha diante dele para sempre.

1For wisdom is poured out like water, And glory faileth not before him for evermore.

2Porque ele é poderoso em todos os segredos da justiça, e a injustiça desaparecerá como uma sombra, e não terá permanência; porque o Escolhido está diante do Senhor dos Espíritos, e a sua glória é para todo o sempre, e o seu poder por todas as gerações.

2For he is mighty in all the secrets of righteousness, And unrighteousness shall disappear as a shadow, And have no continuance; Because the Elect One standeth before the Lord of Spirits, And his glory is for ever and ever, And his might unto all generations.

3E nele habita o espírito de sabedoria, e o espírito que dá entendimento, e o espírito de inteligência e de poder, e o espírito dos que adormeceram na justiça.

3And in him dwells the spirit of wisdom, And the spirit which gives insight, And the spirit of understanding and of might, And the spirit of those who have fallen asleep in righteousness.

4E ele julgará as coisas secretas, e ninguém poderá proferir palavra mentirosa diante dele; porque ele é o Escolhido diante do Senhor dos Espíritos, segundo o seu beneplácito.

4And he shall judge the secret things, And none shall be able to utter a lying word before him; For he is the Elect One before the Lord of Spirits according to His good pleasure.
