1E depois disto vi outro sonho, e te mostrarei todo o sonho, meu filho.

1And after this I saw another dream, and I will show the whole dream to thee, my son.

2E Enoque levantou a sua voz e falou a seu filho Matusalém: A ti, meu filho, falarei; ouve as minhas palavras, inclina o teu ouvido à visão em sonho de teu pai.

2And Enoch lifted up his voice and spake to his son Methuselah: ‘To thee, my son, will I speak: hear my words—incline thine ear to the dream-vision of thy father.

3Antes de tomar tua mãe Edna, vi numa visão sobre o meu leito, e eis que um touro saiu da terra, e aquele touro era branco; e depois dele saiu uma novilha, e com esta saíram dois touros, um deles preto e o outro vermelho.

3Before I took thy mother Edna, I saw in a vision on my bed, and behold a bull came forth from the earth, and that bull was white; and after it came forth a heifer, and along with this latter came forth two bulls, one of them black and the other red.

4E aquele touro preto feriu com os chifres o vermelho e o perseguiu por sobre a terra, e desde então não pude mais ver aquele touro vermelho.

4And that black bull gored the red one and pursued him over the earth, and thereupon I could no longer see that red bull.

5Mas aquele touro preto cresceu, e aquela novilha foi com ele, e vi que muitos bois procederam dele, que se lhe assemelhavam e o seguiam.

5But that black bull grew and that heifer went with him, and I saw that many oxen proceeded from him which resembled and followed him.’

6E aquela vaca, aquela primeira, saiu da presença daquele primeiro touro para buscar aquele vermelho, mas não o achou, e lamentou-se por ele com grande lamentação, e o buscou.

6And that cow, that first one, went from the presence of that first bull in order to seek that red one, but found him not, and lamented with a great lamentation over him and sought him.

7E olhei até que aquele primeiro touro veio a ela e a acalmou, e desde aquele tempo ela não clamou mais.

7And I looked till that first bull came to her and quieted her, and from that time onward she cried no more.

8E depois disso ela deu à luz outro touro branco, e depois dele deu à luz muitos touros e vacas pretas.

8And after that she bore another white bull, and after him she bore many bulls and black cows.

9E vi no meu sono aquele touro branco crescer igualmente e se tornar um grande touro branco, e dele procederam muitos touros brancos, e se lhe assemelhavam.

9And I saw in my sleep that white bull likewise grow and become a great white bull, and from him proceeded many white bulls, and they resembled him.

10E começaram a gerar muitos touros brancos, que se lhes assemelhavam, um seguindo o outro, sim, muitos.

10And they began to beget many white bulls, which resembled them, one following the other, even many.
