2 Enoque 24

1E o Senhor me chamou e me disse: Enoque, senta-te à minha esquerda com Gabriel.

1And the Lord summoned me, and said to me: Enoch, sit down on my left with Gabriel.

2E prostrei-me diante do Senhor, e o Senhor me falou: Enoque, amado, tudo o que vês, todas as coisas que estão de pé, acabadas, eu te digo, mesmo antes do princípio, tudo o que criei do não-ser, e as coisas visíveis (físicas) das invisíveis (espirituais).

2And I bowed down to the Lord, and the Lord spoke to me: Enoch, beloved, all (that) you see, all things that are standing finished I tell to you even before the very beginning, all that I created from non-being, and visible (physical) things from invisible (spiritual).

3Ouve, Enoque, e recebe estas minhas palavras, pois não disse aos meus anjos o meu segredo, e não lhes disse o seu princípio, nem o meu reino sem fim, nem compreenderam a minha criação, que hoje te digo.

3Hear, Enoch, and take in these my words, for not to My angels have I told my secret, and I have not told them their rise, nor my endless realm, nor have they understood my creating, which I tell you to-day.

4Pois antes que todas as coisas fossem visíveis (físicas), eu só andava entre as coisas invisíveis (espirituais), como o sol do oriente ao ocidente, e do ocidente ao oriente.

4For before all things were visible (physical), I alone used to go about in the invisible (spiritual) things, like the sun from east to west, and from west to east.

5Mas até o sol tem paz em si mesmo, ao passo que eu não encontrei paz, porque estava criando todas as coisas, e concebi o pensamento de lançar fundamentos e de criar a criação visível (física).

5But even the sun has peace in itself, while I found no peace, because I was creating all things, and I conceived the thought of placing foundations, and of creating visible (physical) creation.
