1Estendei as vossas mãos aos pobres segundo as vossas forças.

1Stretch out your hands to the poor according to your strength.

2Não escondais a vossa prata na terra.

2Hide not your silver in the earth.

3Ajudai o homem fiel na aflição, e a aflição não vos achará no tempo da vossa angústia.

3Help the faithful man in affliction, and affliction will not find you in the time of your trouble.

4E todo jugo penoso e cruel que vier sobre vós, suportai tudo por amor do Senhor, e assim achareis a vossa recompensa no dia do juízo.

4And every grievous and cruel yoke that come upon you bear all for the sake of the Lord, and thus you will find your reward in the day of judgment.

5É bom ir de manhã, ao meio-dia e à tarde à morada do Senhor, para a glória do vosso criador.

5It is good to go morning, midday, and evening into the Lord’s dwelling, for the glory of your creator.

6Porque todo (ser) que respira o glorifica, e toda criatura visível (física) e invisível (espiritual) lhe devolve louvor.

6Because every breathing (thing) glorifies him, and every creature visible (physical) and invisible (spiritual) returns him praise.
