1Bem-aventurado o homem que, na sua paciência, traz os seus presentes com fé diante da face do Senhor, porque achará o perdão dos pecados.

1Blessed is the man who in his patience brings his gifts with faith before the Lord’s face, because he will find forgiveness of sins.

2Mas se retirar as suas palavras antes do tempo, não há arrependimento para ele; e se o tempo passar e ele não fizer de sua própria vontade o que foi prometido, não há arrependimento depois da morte.

2But if he take back his words before the time, there is no repentance for him; and if the time pass and he do not of his own will what is promised, there is no repentance after death.

3Porque toda obra que o homem faz antes do tempo é toda engano diante dos homens e pecado diante de Deus.

3Because every work which man does before the time, is all deceit before men, and sin before God.
