Apocalipse de Abraão 16

1E eu disse ao Anjo: "Por que me trouxeste agora até aqui, visto que já não posso enxergar, pois já enfraqueci e meu espírito se afasta de mim?"

1And I said to the Angel: "Why hast thou brought me up here now, because I cannot now see, for I am already grown weak, and my spirit departeth from me?"

2E ele me disse: "Permanece junto de mim; não temas!

2And he said to me: "Remain by me; fear not!

3E Aquele que vês vir diretamente em nossa direção, com grande voz de santidade — esse é o Eterno que te ama; mas não podes ver a Ele próprio.

3And He whom thou seest come straight towards us with great voice of holiness — that is the Eternal One who loveth thee; but Himself thou canst not see.

4Não deixes, porém, teu espírito desfalecer [por causa do forte clamor], pois estou contigo e te fortaleço.

4But let not thy spirit grow faint [on account of the loud crying], for I am with thee, strengthening thee.
