Apocalipse de Abraão 19

1E uma voz veio a mim do meio do fogo, dizendo: "Abraão, Abraão!" Eu disse: "Aqui estou!" E Ele disse: "Considera as extensões que estão sob o firmamento em que te encontras (agora) e vê que, em nenhuma delas, há outro além Daquele a quem buscaste e que te amou."

1And a voice came to me out of the midst of the fire, saying: " Abraham, Abraham! " I said: " Here am I! " And He said: " Consider the expanses which are under the firmament on which thou art (now) placed, and see how on no single expanse is there any other but He whom thou hast sought, or who hath loved thee."

2E, enquanto Ele ainda falava, eis que as extensões se abriram, e abaixo de mim estavam os céus.

2And while He was yet speaking (and) lo! the expanses opened, and beneath me the heavens.

3Vi no sétimo firmamento, sobre o qual eu estava, um fogo amplamente estendido, luz, orvalho e uma multidão de anjos, e um poder de glória invisível sobre os seres vivos que eu via; mas nenhum outro ser vi ali.

3And I saw upon the seventh firmament upon which I stood a fire widely extended, and light, and dew, and a multitude of angels, and a power of invisible glory over the living creatures which I saw; but no other being did I see there.

4Olhei do monte em que estava [para baixo], em direção ao sexto firmamento, e vi ali uma multidão de anjos, de espírito (puro), sem corpos, que cumpriam as ordens dos anjos de fogo que estavam no oitavo firmamento, enquanto eu permanecia suspenso acima deles.

4And I looked from the mountain in which I stood [downwards] to the sixth firmament, and saw there a multitude of angels, of (pure) spirit, without bodies, who carried out the commands of the fiery angels who were upon the eighth firmament, as I was standing suspended over them.

5E eis que, nesse firmamento, não havia outros poderes de (qualquer) outra forma, mas somente anjos de espírito (puro), como o poder que eu vira no sétimo firmamento.

5And behold, upon this firmament there were no other powers of (any) other form, but only angels of (pure) spirit, like the power which I saw on the seventh firmament.

6E Ele ordenou que o sexto firmamento fosse retirado.

6And He commanded that the sixth firmament should be taken away.

7E vi ali, no quinto firmamento, os poderes das estrelas, que cumprem as ordens que lhes são dadas; e os elementos da terra lhes obedeciam.

7And I saw there, on the fifth firmament, the powers of the stars which carry out the commands laid upon them, and the elements of the earth obeyed them.
