Apocalipse de Moisés 3

1E foram ambos, e acharam Abel assassinado pela mão de Caim, seu irmão. E disse Deus a Miguel, o arcanjo: Dize a Adão: Não reveles o segredo que sabes a Caim, teu filho, pois ele é filho da ira. Mas não te entristeças, porque te darei outro filho em seu lugar; ele te mostrará tudo o que deves fazer. Tu, porém, nada lhe digas. Assim falou o arcanjo a Adão. E ele guardou esta palavra em seu coração, e com ele também Eva, ainda que se entristecessem por causa de Abel, seu filho.

1And they both went and found Abel murdered. I by the hand of Cain his brother. And God saith to Michael the archangel: 'Say to Adam: " Reveal not the secret that thou knowest to Cain thy son, for he is a son of wrath. But grieve not, for I will give thee another son in his stead; he shall show (to thee) all that thou shalt do. Do thou tell him nothing."' Thus spake the archangel to Adam. But he kept the word in his heart, and with him also Eve, though they grieved concerning Abel their son.
