Apocalipse de Moisés 5

1E gerou Adão trinta filhos e trinta filhas, e viveu Adão novecentos e trinta anos; e adoeceu, e clamou em alta voz, e disse: Venham a mim todos os meus filhos, para que eu os veja antes de morrer.

1And Adam begat thirty sons and thirty daughters and Adam lived nine hundred and thirty years; and he fell sick and cried with a loud voice and said, 'Let all my sons come to me that I may see them before I die.'

2E congregaram-se todos, pois a terra estava dividida em três partes. E disse-lhe Sete, seu filho:

2And all assembled, for the earth was divided into three parts. And Seth his son said to him:

3Meu pai Adão, qual é a tua enfermidade?

3'Father Adam, what is thy complaint'

4E ele disse: Meus filhos, estou esmagado pelo peso da dor. E eles lhe disseram: O que é a dor?

4And he saith, 'MY children, I am crushed by the burden of trouble.' And they say to him, 'What is trouble'
