Apocalipse de Moisés 6

1E respondeu Sete, e disse-lhe: Lembraste-te, meu pai, do fruto do paraíso do qual costumavas comer, e estás entristecido com saudades dele? Se assim for, dize-me, e irei e trarei para ti o fruto do paraíso. Pois porei esterco sobre a minha cabeça, e chorarei e orarei para que o Senhor me ouça e envie o seu anjo, e me traga uma planta do paraíso, e eu a trarei a ti para que a tua dor se aparte de ti. Disse-lhe Adão: Não, meu filho Sete, mas tenho grande enfermidade e dor! Disse-lhe Sete: E como veio isto sobre ti?

1And Seth answered and said to him: 'Hast thou called to mind, father, the fruit of paradise of which thou usedst to eat, and hast been grieved in yearning for it' 'If this be so, tell me, (and) I will go and bring thee fruit from paradise. For I will set dung upon my head and will weep and pray that the Lord will hearken to me and send his angel (and bring me a plant from paradise), and I will bring it thee that thy trouble may cease from thee.' Adam saith to him: 'Nay, my son Seth, but I have (much) sickness and trouble!' Seth saith to him: 'And how hath this come upon thee'
