Apocalipse de Paulo 19

1O anjo respondeu e disse-me: Percebeste todas estas coisas? e eu disse: Sim, senhor.

1The angel answered and said unto me: Hast thou perceived all these things? and I said, Yes, sir.

2E disse-me: Segue-me de novo, e levar-te-ei e mostrar-te-ei os lugares dos justos.

2And he said to me: Follow me again, and I will take thee, and show thee the places of the just.

3E segui o anjo, e ele me levantou ao terceiro céu e me pôs à entrada da porta: e olhando com cuidado vi que a porta era de ouro, e duas colunas de ouro, cheias em cima de letras de ouro, e o anjo voltou-se de novo para mim e disse: Bem-aventurado serias, se tivesses entrado por estas portas, pois não é permitido a ninguém entrar, a não ser aos que têm bondade e inocência de corpo em todas as coisas.

3And I followed the angel, and he raised me to the third heaven, and placed me at the entry of the door: and looking carefully I saw, and the door was of gold, and two columns of gold, full above of golden letters, and the angel tuned again to me and said: Blessed wert thou, if thou hadst entered into these doors, for it is not allowed to any to enter except only to those who have goodness and innocence of body in all things.

4E perguntei ao anjo sobre tudo e disse: Senhor, dize-me por que razão estas letras são postas naquelas tábuas?

4And I asked the angel about everything and said: Sir, tell me on what account these letters are put upon those tables?

5O anjo respondeu e disse-me: Estes são os nomes dos justos, que servem a Deus de todo o coração, e que habitam na terra.

5The angel answered and said unto me: These are the names of the just, serving God with their whole heart, who dwell on the earth.

6E de novo eu disse: Senhor, portanto os seus nomes, e semblante, e semelhança dos que servem a Deus estão no céu, e são conhecidos dos anjos: pois eles sabem quem são os servos de Deus de todo o coração, antes que saiam do mundo.

6And again I said: Sir, therefore their names and countenance and the likeness of these who serve God are in heaven, and are known to the angels: for they know who are the servants of God with all their heart, before they go out of the world.
