Apocalipse de Paulo 7

1Eis, filhos dos homens, que a criatura está sujeita a Deus, mas só a raça humana peca.

1Behold, ye sons of men, the creature is subject to God, but the human race alone sins.

2Por isso, portanto, filhos dos homens, bendizei ao Senhor Deus sem cessar, a toda hora e todo dia: mas mais especialmente quando o sol se pôs: pois a essa hora todos os anjos vão ao Senhor para o adorar e apresentar as obras dos homens, que cada homem fez desde a manhã até a tarde, sejam boas ou más.

2For this cause, therefore, ye sons of men, bless the Lord God unceasingly, every hour and every day: but more especially when the sun has set: for at that hour all the angels proceed to the Lord to worship him and to present the works of men, which every man has wrought from the morning till the evening, whether good or evil.

3E há certo anjo que vai alegre a respeito do homem em quem habita.

3And there is a certain angel who proceeds rejoicing concerning the man in whom he dwells.

4Quando, pois, o sol se pôs, na primeira hora da noite, nessa mesma hora vai o anjo de cada povo e de cada homem e mulher, que os protegem e guardam, porque o homem é a imagem de Deus: do mesmo modo também na hora matutina, que é a décima segunda da noite, todos os anjos dos homens e das mulheres sobem a Deus para adorar a Deus e apresentar toda obra que cada homem fez, seja boa ou má.

4When therefore the sun has set in the first hour of night, in the same hour the angel of every people and every man and woman, who protect and preserve them, because man is the image of God: similarly also in the matin hour which is the twelfth of the night, all the angels of men and women, go up to God to worship God, and present every work which each man has wrought, whether good or evil.

5Além disso, todo dia e toda noite os anjos mostram a Deus a conta de todos os atos da raça humana.

5Moreover every day and night the angels show to God an account of all the acts of the human race.

6A vós, portanto, digo, filhos dos homens, bendizei ao Senhor Deus sem falta todos os dias da vossa vida.

6To you, therefore, I say, ye sons of men, bless the Lord God without fail all the days of your life.
