Apocalipse de Pedro 4

1E Ele ordenará aos animais selvagens e às aves que restituam toda a carne que devoraram, porque deseja que os homens compareçam; pois nada perece diante de Deus, e nada é impossível para Ele, visto que todas as coisas são suas.

1And the wild beasts and the fowls shall he command to restore all the flesh that they have devoured, because he willeth that men should appear; for nothing perisheth before God, and nothing is impossible with him, because all things are his.

2Pois todas as coisas acontecem no dia da decisão, no dia do julgamento, pela palavra de Deus: e assim como todas as coisas foram feitas quando Ele criou o mundo e ordenou tudo o que nele há e foi feito — da mesma forma será nos últimos dias; pois todas as coisas são possíveis para Deus.

2For all things come to pass on the day of decision, on the day of judgement, at the word of God: and as all things were done when he created the world and commanded all that is therein and it was done—even so shall it be in the last days; for all things are possible with God.

3E, portanto, diz Ele na escritura: Filho do homem, profetiza sobre estes ossos e dize aos ossos: osso a osso em junturas, tendões, nervos, carne, pele e cabelos sobre eles, e alma e espírito.

3And therefore saith he in the scripture: Son of man, prophesy upon the several bones and say unto the bones: bone unto bone in joints, sinew, nerves, flesh and skin and hair thereon [and soul and spirit].

4E alma e espírito lhes dará o grande Uriel, por mandamento de Deus; pois a ele Deus estabeleceu sobre a ressurreição dos mortos no dia do julgamento.

4And soul and spirit shall the great Uriel give them at the commandment of God; for him hath God set over the rising again of the dead at the day of judgement.

5Contemplai e considerai os grãos de trigo que são semeados na terra.

5Behold and consider the corns of wheat that are sown in the earth.

6Como coisas secas e sem alma os homens os semeiam na terra: e eles tornam a viver e dão fruto, e a terra os restitui como um penhor que lhe fora confiado.

6As things dry and without soul do men sow them in the earth: and they live again and bear fruit, and the earth restoreth them as a pledge entrusted unto it.

7E isto que morre, que é semeado como semente na terra, e torna a viver e é restituído à vida, é o homem. Quanto mais Deus ressuscitará no dia da decisão aqueles que creem nele e são escolhidos por Ele, por causa de quem fez o mundo?

7[And this that dieth, that is sown as seed in the earth, and shall become alive and be restored unto life, is man. ] How much more shall God raise up on the day of decision them that believe in him and are chosen of him, for whose sake he made the world?

8E todas as coisas a terra restituirá no dia da decisão, pois ela também será julgada juntamente com eles, e o céu com ela.

8And all things shall the earth restore on the day of decision, for it also shall be judged with them, and the heaven with it.
