Apocalipse 21

1E eu vi um novo céu e uma nova terra; porque o primeiro céu e a primeira terra já passaram; e e já não havia mar.

1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2E eu, João, vi a cidade santa, a nova Jerusalém, descendo do céu vinda de Deus, preparada como noiva, adornada para seu marido.

2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3E eu ouvi uma grande voz do céu, dizendo: “Eis que o tabernáculo de Deus está com os seres humanos; e com eles habitará, e eles serão seu povo, e o próprio Deus estará com eles, e será seu Deus.

3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4E Deus limpará toda lágrima dos olhos deles; e não haverá mais morte, nem pranto, nem clamor, nem mais haverá dor; porque as primeiras coisas já passaram.”

4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5E o que estava sentado sobre o trono disse: “Eis que eu faço novas todas as coisas.” E ele me disse: “Escreve, porque estas palavras são verdadeiras e fiéis.”

5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6E ele me disse: “Está feito. Eu sou o Alfa e o Ômega, o princípio e o fim. Quem tiver sede, de graça eu lhe darei da fonte da água da vida.

6And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7Quem vencer herdará todas as coisas; e eu serei Deus dele, e ele será meu filho.

7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8Mas quanto aos covardes, e aos incrédulos, e aos abomináveis, e aos homicidas, e aos pecadores sexuais, e aos feiticeiros, e aos idólatras, e a todos os mentirosos, a parte deles será no lago que queima com fogo e enxofre, que é a segunda morte.”

8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

9E veio a mim um dos sete anjos que tinham as sete taças cheias das sete últimas pragas; e ele falou comigo, dizendo: “Vem, e eu te mostrarei a noiva, a mulher do Cordeiro.”

9And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

10E ele me levou em espírito a um grande e alto monte; e ele me mostrou a grande cidade, a santa Jerusalém, descendo do céu vinda de Deus;

10And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

11E tendo a glória de Deus; e sua luz era semelhante a uma pedra preciosíssima, como a pedra de jaspe, como cristal brilhante;

11Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

12E tinha um grande e alto muro tendo doze portas; e nas portas doze anjos, e nomes escritos nelas, que são os nomes das doze tribos dos filhos de Israel.

12And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

13No oriente tinha três portas; no norte três portas, no sul três portas, e no ocidente três portas.

13On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

14E o muro da cidade tinha doze fundamentos, e neles os nomes dos doze apóstolos do Cordeiro.

14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15E aquele que estava falando comigo tinha uma cana de ouro, para medir a cidade, e suas portas, e seu muro.

15And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

16E a cidade estava posta na forma de um quadrado; e o seu comprimento era tanto quanto sua largura. E ele mediu a cidade com a cana até doze mil estádios; e seu comprimento, largura e altura eram iguais.

16And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

17E ele mediu seu muro de cento e quarenta e quatro côvados, conforme a medida humana, que é também a do anjo.

17And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

18E a constituição de seu muro era de jaspe; e a cidade era de ouro puro, semelhante a vidro puro.

18And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

19E os fundamentos do muro da cidade estavam adornados com toda pedra preciosa; o primeiro fundamento era jaspe; o segundo, safira; o terceiro, calcedônia; o quarto, esmeralda;

19And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

20O quinto, sardônica; o sexto, sárdio; o sétimo, crisólito; o oitavo, berilo; o nono, topázio; o décimo, crisópraso; o décimo primeiro, jacinto; o décimo segundo, ametista.

20The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

21E as doze portas eram doze pérolas; cada uma das portas era de uma pérola; e a praça da cidade era de ouro puro, como vidro transparente.

21And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

22E nela eu não vi templo, porque o templo dela é o Senhor Deus Todo-Poderoso, e o Cordeiro.

22And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

23E a cidade não necessita de sol nem de lua para que brilhem nela; porque a glória de Deus a ilumina, e sua lâmpada é o Cordeiro.

23And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24E as nações dos salvos andarão na luz dela; e os reis da terra trarão a ela a glória e honra deles.

24And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

25E suas portas não se fecharão de dia; porque ali não haverá noite.

25And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

26E a ela serão trazidas a glória e a honra das nações.

26And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

27E de maneira nenhuma entrará nela algo que contamine, faça abominação e mentira; a não ser somente aqueles que estão escritos no livro da vida do Cordeiro.

27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
