Ascensão de Isaías 2

1E aconteceu que, depois de Ezequias morrer e Manassés tornar-se rei, este não se lembrou dos mandamentos de Ezequias, seu pai, mas os esqueceu, e Samael habitou em Manassés e apegou-se firmemente a ele.

1AND it came to pass after that Hezekiah died and Manasseh became king, that he did not remember the commands of Hezekiah his father, but forgat them, and Sammael abode in Manasseh and clung fast to him.

2E Manassés abandonou o serviço do Deus de seu pai, e serviu a Satanás e aos seus anjos e aos seus poderes.

2And Manasseh forsook the service of the God of his father, and he served Satan and his angels and his powers.

3E desviou a casa de seu pai, que tinha estado diante da face de Ezequias, (afastando-a) das palavras de sabedoria e do serviço de Deus.

3And he turned aside the house of his father, which had been before the face of Hezekiah (from) the words of wisdom and from the service of God.

4E Manassés desviou o seu coração para servir a Beliar; pois o anjo da iniquidade, que é o governante deste mundo, é Beliar, cujo nome é Mantanbuco. E ele se comprazia em Jerusalém por causa de Manassés, e o fortaleceu na apostasia (de Israel) e na iniquidade que se espalhava por Jerusalém.

4And Manasseh turned aside his heart to serve Beliar; for the angel of lawlessness, who is the ruler of this world, is Beliar, whose name is Mantanbuchus. and he delighted in Jerusalem because of Manasseh, and he made him strong in apostatizing (Israel) and in the lawlessness which were spread abroad in Jerusalem.

5E aumentaram a feitiçaria e a magia, e a adivinhação e os agouros, e a fornicação, e [o adultério], e a perseguição dos justos por Manassés e [Belquira, e] Tobias, o cananeu, e João de Anatote, e por (Zadoque) o chefe das obras.

5And witchcraft and magic increased and divination and auguration, and fornication, and [adultery], and the persecution of the righteous by Manasseh and [Belachira, and] Tobia the Canaanite, and John of Anathoth, and by (Zadok) the chief of the works.

6E o restante dos atos, eis que estão escritos no livro dos Reis de Judá e de Israel.

6And the rest of the acts, behold they are written in the book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.

7E quando Isaías, filho de Amós, viu a iniquidade que se praticava em Jerusalém e o culto de Satanás e a sua devassidão, retirou-se de Jerusalém e fixou-se em Belém de Judá.

7And, when Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saw the lawlessness which was being perpetrated in Jerusalem and the worship of Satan and his wantonness, he withdrew from Jerusalem and settled in Bethlehem of Judah.

8E ali também havia muita iniquidade, e retirando-se de Belém fixou-se num monte, num lugar deserto.

8And there also there was much lawlessness, and withdrawing from Bethlehem he settled on a mountain in a desert place.

9E Miqueias, o profeta, e o idoso Ananias, e Joel e Habacuque, e seu filho Josab, e muitos dos fiéis que criam na ascensão ao céu, retiraram-se e fixaram-se no monte.

9And Micaiah the prophet, and the aged Ananias, and Joel and Habakkuk, and his son Josab, and many of the faithful who believed in the ascension into heaven, withdrew and settled on the mountain.

10Todos estavam vestidos de vestes de pelo, e todos eram profetas. E nada tinham consigo, mas estavam nus, e todos lamentavam com grande lamentação por causa do desvio de Israel.

10They were all clothed with garments of hair, and they were all prophets. And they had nothing with them but were naked, and they all lamented with a great lamentation because of the going astray of Israel.

11E estes nada comiam senão ervas silvestres que colhiam nos montes, e depois de as cozinharem, viviam delas juntamente com Isaías, o profeta. E passaram dois anos de dias nos montes e nas colinas.

11And these eat nothing save wild herbs which they gathered on the mountains, and having cooked them, they lived thereon together with Isaiah the prophet. And they spent two years of days on the mountains and hills.

12E depois disto, estando eles no deserto, havia um certo homem em Samaria, chamado Belquira, da família de Zedequias, filho de Quenaã, um falso profeta, cuja morada era em Belém. Ora, Ezequias, filho de Hanani, que era irmão do pai dele, e que nos dias de Acabe, rei de Israel, tinha sido o mestre dos 400 profetas de Baal, havia ele mesmo ferido e repreendido Miqueias, filho de Amada, o profeta.

12And after this, whilst they were in the desert, there was a certain man in Samaria named Belchira, of the family of Zedekiah, the son of Chenaan, a false prophet, whose dwelling was in Bethlehem. Now Hezekiah the son of Chanani, who was the brother of his father, and in the days of Ahab, king of Israel, had been the teacher of the 400. prophets of Baal, had himself smitten and reproved Micaiah the son of Amada the prophet.

13E ele, Miqueias, tinha sido repreendido por Acabe e lançado na prisão. (E estava) com Zedequias, o profeta: estavam com Acazias, filho de Acabe, rei em Samaria.

13And he, Micaiah, had been reproved by Ahab and cast into prison. (And he was) with Zedekiah the prophet: they were with Ahaziah the son of Ahab, king in Samaria.

14E Elias, o profeta de Tebon de Gileade, repreendia Acazias e Samaria, e profetizou a respeito de Acazias que morreria no seu leito de enfermidade, e que Samaria seria entregue nas mãos de Leba Nasr, porque ele tinha matado os profetas de Deus.

14And Elijah the prophet of Tebon of Gilead was reproving Ahaziah and Samaria, and prophesied regarding Ahaziah that he should die on his bed of sickness, and that Samaria should be delivered into the hand of Leba Nasr because he had slain the prophets of God.

15E quando os falsos profetas, que estavam com Acazias, filho de Acabe, e o seu mestre Jalerjas do monte Joel, tinham ouvido-

15And when the false prophets, who were with Ahaziah the son of Ahab and their teacher Jalerjas of Mount Joel, had heard-

16Ora, ele era irmão de Zedequias - quando persuadiram Acazias, o rei de Aguaron, e (mataram) Miqueias.

16Now he was a brother of Zedekiah - when they persuaded Ahaziah the king of Aguaron and (slew) Micaiah.
