Didaquê 15

1Nomeai, portanto, para vós mesmos bispos e diáconos dignos do Senhor, homens que sejam mansos e não amantes do dinheiro, e verdadeiros e aprovados; pois para vós eles também realizam o serviço dos profetas e mestres.

1Appoint for yourselves therefore bishops and deacons worthy of the Lord, men who are meek and not lovers of money, and true and approved; for unto you they also perform the service of the prophets and teachers.

2Portanto, não os desprezeis; pois são vossas pessoas honradas juntamente com os profetas e mestres.

2Therefore despise them not; for they are your honorable men along with the prophets and teachers.

3E repreendei-vos uns aos outros, não com ira, mas em paz, como encontrais no Evangelho; e que ninguém fale a quem agiu erradamente para com o seu próximo, nem que ele ouça uma palavra de vós, até que se arrependa.

3And reprove one another, not in anger but in peace, as ye find in the Gospel; and let no one speak to any that has gone wrong towards his neighbor, neither let him hear a word from you, until he repent.

4Mas as vossas orações e as vossas esmolas e todas as vossas obras, fazei-as como encontrais no Evangelho do nosso Senhor.

4But your prayers and your almsgiving and all your deeds so do ye as ye find it in the Gospel of our Lord.
