Esdras 2

1Estes são os filhos da província que subiram do cativeiro, dos transportados que Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, tinha transportado para a Babilônia, e que voltaram a Jerusalém e a Judá, cada um para sua cidade;

1Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;

2Os quais vieram com Zorobabel, Jesua, Neemias, Seraías, Reelaías, Mardoqueu, Bilsã, Mispar, Bigvai, Reum e Baaná. O registro dos homens do povo de Israel:

5Os filhos de Ara, setecentos e setenta e cinco;

6Os filhos de Paate-Moabe, dos descendentes de Jesua e Joabe, dois mil oitocentos e doze;

7Os filhos de Elão, mil duzentos e cinquenta e quatro;

28Os homens de Betel e Ai, duzentos e vinte e três;

29Os filhos de Nebo, cinquenta e dois;

29The children of Nebo, fifty and two.

30Os filhos de Magbis, cento e cinquenta e seis;

30The children of Magbish, an hundred fifty and six.

31Os filhos do outro Elão, mil duzentos e cinquenta e quatro;

31The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

32Os filhos de Harim, trezentos e vinte;

38Os filhos de Pasur, mil duzentos e quarenta e sete;

55The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Peruda,

56Os filhos de Jaala, o filhos de Darcom, os filhos de Gidel;

56The children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,

57Os filhos de Sefatias, os filhos de Hatil, os filhos de Poquerete-Hazebaim, os filhos de Ami.

57The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Ami.

58Todos os servos do templo, e filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.

58All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety and two.

59Também estes subiram de Tel-Melá, Tel-Harsa, Querube, Adã, e Imer, porém não puderam mostrar a família de seus pais, nem sua linhagem, se eram de Israel:

59And these were they which went up from Telmelah, Telharsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father's house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:

60Os filhos de Delaías, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Necoda, seiscentos e cinquenta e dois.

60The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.

61E dos filhos dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaías, os filhos de Coz, os filhos de Barzilai, o qual tomou mulher das filhas de Barzilai gileadita, e foi chamado pelo nome delas.

61And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name:

62Estes buscaram seu registro de genealogias, mas não foi achado; por isso foram rejeitados do sacerdócio.

62These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.

63E o governador lhes mandou que não comessem das coisas sagradas, até que houvesse sacerdote com Urim e Tumim.

63And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.

64Toda esta congregação junta foi quarenta e dois mil trezentos e sessenta,

64The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,

65Sem seus servos e servas, os quais foram sete mil trezentos trinta e sete; também tinham duzentos cantores e cantoras.

65Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women.

66Seus cavalos foram setecentos e trinta e seis; seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco;

66Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;

67Seus camelos, quatrocentos trinta e cinco; asnos, seis mil setecentos e vinte.

67Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

68E alguns dos chefes de famílias, quando vieram à casa do SENHOR que estava em Jerusalém, deram ofertas voluntárias para a casa de Deus, para a reconstruírem em seu lugar.

68And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place:

69Conforme sua capacidade deram ao tesouro da obra sessenta e uma mil dracmas de ouro, cinco mil libras de prata, e cem vestes sacerdotais.

69They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.

70E os sacerdotes, os Levitas, os do povo, os cantores, os porteiros e os servos do templo, habitaram em suas cidades; como também todo Israel em suas cidades.

70So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
