Evangelho de Pedro 10

1Vendo, pois, aquilo os soldados, despertaram o centurião e os anciãos; porque estes também estavam por perto fazendo a guarda.

1When therefore those soldiers saw it, they awakened the centurion and the elders; for they too were hard by keeping guard.

2E, enquanto relatavam as coisas que tinham visto, veem novamente três homens saindo da tumba, dois deles sustentando a um, e uma cruz seguindo-os; e a cabeça dos dois alcançava até o céu, mas a cabeça daquele que era conduzido por eles ultrapassava os céus.

2And, as they declared what things they had seen, again they see three men come forth from the tomb, and two of them supporting one, and a cross following them: and of the two the head reached unto the heaven, but the head of him that was led by them overpassed the heavens.

3E ouviram uma voz dos céus, dizendo: Pregaste aos que dormem.

3And they heard a voice from the heavens, saying, Thou hast preached to them that sleep.

4E uma resposta foi ouvida da cruz: Sim.

4And a response was heard from the cross, Yea.
