Hebreus 13

1Permaneça o amor fraternal.

1Let brotherly love continue.

2Não vos esqueçais de mostrar hospitalidade, porque através dela alguns, sem saber, acolheram anjos.

2Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

3Lembrai-vos dos prisoneiros, como se estivésseis presos com eles; e dos que são maltratados, como se vós mesmos também estivessem sendo em vossos corpos.

3Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

4O matrimônio seja honrado entre todos, e o leito conjugal sem contaminação; mas Deus julgará os pecadores sexuais e os adúlteros.

4Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

5A vossa maneira de viver seja sem ganância, contentando-vos com as coisas que tendes. Pois ele disse: Não te deixarei, nem te desampararei.

5Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

6De maneira que devemos ter a confiança de dizer: O Senhor é meu ajudador; não temerei o que o ser humano poderá fazer a mim.

6So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

7Lembrai-vos de vossos líderes, que vos falaram a palavra de Deus. Observai o resultado da maneira como viveram, e imitai a fé deles.

7Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

8Jesus Cristo é o mesmo ontem, hoje, e eternamente.

8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

9Não vos deixeis levar por doutrinas várias e estranhas. Pois bom ao coração é ser fortificado pela graça, e não por alimentos, que não resultaram em proveito algum aos que com eles se ocuparam.

9Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

10Temos um altar, do qual os que servem no tabernáculo não têm autoridade para comer;

10We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

11porque os corpos dos animais, cujo sangue pelo pecado é trazido ao Santuário pelo Sumo sacerdote, são queimados fora do acampamento.

11For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

12Por isso também Jesus, para santificar o povo pelo seu próprio sangue, sofreu fora do portão da cidade.

12Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

13Assim, saiamos até ele, fora do acampamento, carregando a sua humilhação.

13Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

14Pois não temos aqui cidade permanente, mas buscamos a futura.

14For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

15Portanto, por meio dele, ofereçamos continuamente sacrifício de louvor a Deus, isto é, o fruto dos lábios que declaram honra ao seu nome.

15By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

16E não vos esqueçais de fazer o bem e de compartilhar, pois Deus se agrada com tais sacrifícios.

16But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

17Obedecei aos vossos líderes, e sede submissos a eles, pois eles vigiam pelas vossas almas, como os que prestarão contas delas; para que o façam com alegria, e não gemendo, porque isso não vos seria proveitoso.

17Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

18Orai por nós; porque confiamos que temos boa consciência, e desejamos nos comportar da maneira correta em tudo.

18Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

19E eu vos rogo ainda mais que façais isto, para que eu vos seja restituído mais depressa.

19But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

20O Deus da paz, que, pelo sangue do eterno Testamento eterno, voltou a trazer dentre os mortos o grande Pastor das ovelhas, o nosso Senhor Jesus,

20Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21vos aperfeiçoe em toda boa obra, para fazerdes a sua vontade, operando em vós o que é agradável diante dele, por meio de Jesus Cristo, a quem seja a glória para todo o sempre. Amém!

21Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

22Eu vos rogo, porém, irmãos, que suportai esta palavra de exortação; pois eu vos escrevi de maneira breve.

22And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.

23Sabei que o irmão Timóteo já está solto. Se ele vier depressa, com ele eu vos verei.

23Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

24Saudai a todos os vossos líderes, e a todos os santos. Os da Itália vos saúdam.

24Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
