Josué 15

1E foi a sorte da tribo dos filhos de Judá, por suas famílias, junto ao termo de Edom, do deserto de Zim ao sul, ao lado do sul.

1This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.

2E seu termo da parte do sul foi desde a costa do mar Salgado, desde a baía que está voltada ao sul;

2And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:

3E saía até o sul à subida de Acrabim, passando até Zim; e subindo pelo sul até Cades-Barneia, passava a Hebrom, e subindo por Adar dava volta a Carca;

3And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:

4De ali passava a Azmom, e saía ao ribeiro do Egito; e sai este termo ao ocidente. Este pois vos será o termo do sul.

4From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.

5O termo do oriente é o mar Salgado até o fim do Jordão. E o termo da parte do norte, desde a baía do mar, desde o fim do Jordão:

5And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:

6E sobe este termo por Bete-Hogla, e passa do norte a Bete-Arabá, e daqui sobe este termo à pedra de Boã, filho de Rúben.

6And the border went up to Bethhogla, and passed along by the north of Betharabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:

7E torna a subir este termo a Debir desde o vale de Acor: e ao norte olha sobre Gilgal, que está diante da subida de Adumim, a qual está ao sul do ribeiro: e passa este termo às águas de En-Semes, e sai à fonte de Rogel:

7And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:

8E sobe este termo pelo vale do filho de Hinom ao lado dos jebuseus ao sul: esta é Jerusalém. Logo sobe este termo pelo cume do monte que está diante do vale de Hinom até o ocidente, o qual está ao fim do vale dos gigantes ao norte;

8And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:

9E rodeia este termo desde o cume do monte até a fonte das águas de Neftoa, e sai às cidades do monte de Efrom, rodeando logo o mesmo termo a Baalá, a qual é Quriate-Jearim.

9And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjathjearim:

10Depois torna este termo desde Baalá até o ocidente ao monte de Seir: e passa ao lado do monte de Jearim até o norte, esta é Quesalom, e desce a Bete-Semes, e passa a Timna.

10And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to Timnah:

11Sai logo este termo ao lado de Ecrom até o norte; e rodeia o mesmo termo a Sicrom, e passa pelo monte de Baalá, e sai a Jabneel: e sai este termo ao mar.

11And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.

12O termo do ocidente é o mar grande. Este, pois, é o termo dos filhos de Judá em derredor, por suas famílias.

12And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.

13Mas a Calebe, filho de Jefoné, deu parte entre os filhos de Judá, conforme o mandamento do SENHOR a Josué: isto é, a Quiriate-Arba, do pai de Anaque, que é Hebrom.

13And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.

14E Calebe expulsou dali três filhos de Anaque, a Sesai, Aimã, e Talmai, filhos de Anaque.

14And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.

15De aqui subiu aos que moravam em Debir: e o nome de Debir era antes Quiriate-Sefer.

15And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher.

16E disse Calebe: Ao que ferir a Quiriate-Sefer, e a tomar, eu lhe darei a minha filha Acsa por mulher.

16And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.

17E tomou-a Otniel, filho de Quenaz, irmão de Calebe; e ele lhe deu por mulher a sua filha Acsa.

17And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.

18E aconteceu que quando a levava, ele a persuadiu que pedisse a seu pai terras para lavrar. Ela então desceu do asno. E Calebe lhe disse: Que tens?

18And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?

19E ela respondeu: Dá-me bênção; pois me deste terra de secura, dá-me também fontes de águas. Ele então lhe deu as fontes de acima, e as de abaixo.

19Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.

20Esta, pois é a herança das tribos dos filhos de Judá por suas famílias.

20This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.

21E foram as cidades do termo da tribo dos filhos de Judá até o termo de Edom ao sul: Cabzeel, e Éder, e Jagur,

21And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,

22E Quiná, e Dimona, e Adada,

22And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,

23E Quedes, e Hazor, e Itnã,

23And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,

24Zife, e Telém, Bealote,

24Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,

25E Hazor-Hadata, e Queriote-Hezrom, que é Hazor,

25And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, and Hezron, which is Hazor,

26Amã, e Sema, e Moladá,

26Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,

27E Hazar-Gada, e Hesmom, e Bete-Pelete,

27And Hazargaddah, and Heshmon, and Bethpalet,

28E Hazar-Sual, Berseba, e Biziotiá,

28And Hazarshual, and Beersheba, and Bizjothjah,

29Baalá, e Iim, e Azém,

29Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,

30E Eltolade, e Quesil, e Hormá,

30And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,

31E Ziclague, e Madmana, Sansana,

31And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,

32E Lebaote, Silim, e Aim, e Rimom; em todas vinte e nove cidades com suas aldeias.

32And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages:

33Nas planícies, Estaol, e Zorá, e Asná,

33And in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,

34E Zanoa, e En-Ganim, Tapua, e Enã,

34And Zanoah, and Engannim, Tappuah, and Enam,

35Jeremote, e Adulão, Socó, e Azeca,

35Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,

36E Saaraim, e Aditaim, e Gederá, e Gederotaim; catorze cidades com suas aldeias.

36And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages:

37Zenã, e Hadasa, e Migdal-Gade,

37Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdalgad,

38E Dileã, e Mispá, e Jocteel,

38And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,

39Laquis, e Bozcate, e Eglom,

39Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,

40E Cabom, e Laamás, e Quitilis,

40And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,

41E Gederote, Bete-Dagom, e Naamá, e Maquedá; dezesseis cidades com suas aldeias.

41And Gederoth, Bethdagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages:

42Libna, e Eter, e Asã,

42Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,

43E Iftá, e Asná, e Nezibe,

43And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,

44E Queila, e Aczibe, e Maressa; nove cidades com suas aldeias.

44And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:

45Ecrom com suas vilas e suas aldeias:

45Ekron, with her towns and her villages:

46Desde Ecrom até o mar, todas as que estão à costa de Asdode com suas aldeias.

46From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:

47Asdode com suas vilas e suas aldeias: Gaza com suas vilas e suas aldeias até o rio do Egito, e o grande mar com seus termos.

47Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:

48E nas montanhas, Samir, e Jatir, e Sucote,

48And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,

49E Dana, e Quiriate-Saná, que é Debir,

49And Dannah, and Kirjathsannah, which is Debir,

50E Anabe, e Estemo, e Anim,

50And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,

51E Gósen, e Holom, e Gilo; onze cidades com suas aldeias.

51And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages:

52Arabe, e Dumá, e Esã,

52Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,

53E Janim, e Bete-Tapua, e Afeca,

53And Janum, and Bethtappuah, and Aphekah,

54E Hunta, e Quiriate-Arba, que é Hebrom, e Zior; nove cidades com suas aldeias.

54And Humtah, and Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, and Zior; nine cities with their villages:

55Maom, Carmelo, e Zife, e Jutá,

55Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,

56E Jezreel, Jocdeão, e Zanoa,

56And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,

57Caim, Gibeá, e Timna; dez cidades com suas aldeias.

57Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:

58Halul, e Bete-Zur, e Gedor,

58Halhul, Bethzur, and Gedor,

59E Maarate, e Bete-Anote, e Eltecom; seis cidades com suas aldeias.

59And Maarath, and Bethanoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:

60Quriate-Baal, que é Quriate-Jearim, e Rabá; duas cidades com suas aldeias.

60Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:

61No deserto, Bete-Arabá, Midim, e Secacá,

61In the wilderness, Betharabah, Middin, and Secacah,

62E Nibsã, e a cidade do sal, e En-Gedi; seis cidades com suas aldeias.

62And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and Engedi; six cities with their villages.

63Mas aos jebuseus que habitavam em Jerusalém, os filhos de Judá não os puderam desarraigar; antes restaram os jebuseus em Jerusalém com os filhos de Judá, até hoje.

63As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
