Jubileus 13

1E Abram viajou de Arã, e ele levou Sarai, sua esposa, e Ló, filho de seu irmão Arã, para a terra de Canaã. E ele foi até Assur e seguiu para Siquém, e habitou próximo a um elevado carvalho.

1And Abram journeyed from Haran, and he took Sarai, his wife, and Lot, his brother Haran's son, to the land of Canaan, and he came into Asshur, and proceeded to Shechem, and dwelt near a lofty oak.

2E ele viu e eis que a terra era muito agradável da entrada de Hamath até o elevado carvalho.

2And he saw, and, behold, the land was very pleasant from the entering of Hamath to the lofty oak.

3E o Senhor disse a ele: "Para ti e tua descendência eu te darei esta terra."

3And the Lord said to him: 'To thee and to thy seed will I give this land.'

4E ele construiu um altar lá, e ele ofereceu um holocausto ao Senhor, que havia aparecido a ele.

4And he built an altar there, and he offered thereon a burnt sacrifice to the Lord, who had appeared to him.

5E ele partiu dali para uma região montanhosa. ... Betheu ficava a oeste e Ai a leste, e montou sua tenda ali.

5And he removed from thence unto the mountain... Bethel on the west and Ai on the east, and pitched his tent there.

6E ele viu e eis que a terra era bem larga e boa, e crescia de tudo nela, vinhas e figueiras e romãs, carvalhos e azinheiras e terebintos e oliveiras, e os cedros e ciprestes e tamareiras, e todo tipo de árvores do campo, e havia água nas montanhas.

6And he saw and behold, the land was very wide and good, and everything grew thereon —vines and figs and pomegranates, oaks and ilexes, and terebinths and oil trees, and cedars and cypresses and date trees, and all trees of the field, and there was water on the mountains.

7E ele bendisse ao Senhor que o levou para fora de Ur dos Caldeus, e que o trouxe para esta terra.

7And he blessed the Lord who had led him out of Ur of the Chaldees, and had brought him to this land.

8E aconteceu que no primeiro ano, na sétima semana, na lua nova do primeiro mês, ele construiu um altar nesta montanha, e clamou ao nome do Senhor: "Tu, o Deus Eterno, és meu Deus."

8And it came to pass in the first year, in the seventh week, on the new moon of the first month, that he built an altar on this mountain, and called on the name of the Lord: 'Thou, the eternal God, art my God.'

9E ele ofereceu no altar um holocausto ao Senhor para que Ele fosse com ele e não o abandonasse por todos os dias de sua vida.

9And he offered on the altar a burnt sacrifice unto the Lord that He should be with him and not forsake him all the days of his life.

10E ele partiu de lá e foi para o sul, e ele chegou em Hebrom, e Hebrom já havia sido construída naquela época, e ele habitou lá por dois anos, e ele foi para a terra do sul, para Bealoth, e havia fome na terra.

10And he removed from thence and went towards the south, and he came to Hebron and Hebron was built at that time, and he dwelt there two years, and he went thence into the land of the south, to Bealoth, and there was a famine in the land.

11E Abram foi ao Egito no terceiro ano da semana, e ele habitou no Egito cinco anos antes de sua esposa ser arrancada dele.

11And Abram went into Egypt in the third year of the week, and he dwelt in Egypt five years before his wife was torn away from him.

12Agora Tanais no Egito naquele tempo havia sido construída sete anos após Hebron.

12Now Tanais in Egypt was at that time built— seven years after Hebron.

13E aconteceu que o Faraó apreendeu Sarai, a esposa de Abram, de modo que o Senhor pesteou o Faraó e sua casa com grandes pragas por causa de Sarai, esposa de Abram.

13And it came to pass when Pharaoh seized Sarai, the wife of Abram that the Lord plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram's wife.

14E Abram estava bastante glorificado pelo motivo de suas posses em ovelhas, gado, jumentos, cavalos e camelos, e servos e servas, e prata e ouro em abundância. E Ló, filho de seu irmão, também estava rico.

14And Abram was very glorious by reason of possessions in sheep, and cattle, and asses, and horses, and camels, and menservants, and maidservants, and in silver and gold exceedingly. And Lot also his brother's son, was wealthy.

15E o Faraó devolveu Sarai, esposa de Abram, e ele o despediu da terra do Egito, e ele viajou para o lugar onde ele havia montado sua tenda no começo, o lugar do altar, com Ai a leste e Betheu a oeste, e ele bendisse ao Senhor Deus que o havia trazido de volta em paz.

15And Pharaoh gave back Sarai, the wife of Abram, and he sent him out of the land of Egypt, and he journeyed to the place where he had pitched his tent at the beginning, to the place of the altar, with Ai on the east, and Bethel on the west, and he blessed the Lord his God who had brought him back in peace.

16E aconteceu que no quadragésimo primeiro jubileu no terceiro ano da primeira semana, ele retornou a esse lugar e ofereceu um holocausto, e clamou ao nome do Senhor e disse: "Tu, o Deus Altíssimo, és meu Deus para sempre."

16And it came to pass in the forty-first jubilee in the third year of the first week, that he returned to this place and offered thereon a burnt sacrifice, and called on the name of the Lord, and said: 'Thou, the most high God, art my God for ever and ever.'

17E no quarto ano dessa semana Ló partiu dele, e Ló habitou em Sodoma, e os homens de Sodoma eram excessivamente pecadores.

17And in the fourth year of this week Lot parted from him, and Lot dwelt in Sodom, and the men of Sodom were sinners exceedingly.

18E pesou-lhe no coração que o filho de seu irmão havia se separado dele; porque ele não tinha nenhum filho.

18And it grieved him in his heart that his brother's son had parted from him; for he had no children.

19Naquele ano quando Ló foi aprisionado, o Senhor disse a Abram, depois que Ló havia partido dele, no quarto ano dessa semana: "Levante os olhos do lugar onde estás habitando. para o norte, para o sul e para o oeste e o leste.

19In that year when Lot was taken captive, the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot had parted from him, in the fourth year of this week: 'Lift up thine eyes from the place where thou art dwelling, northward and southward, and westward and eastward.

20Porque toda a terra que tu viste eu to a darei e a seus descendentes para sempre, e eu farei tua descendência como a areia do mar: E ainda que um homem possa contar o pó da terra, ainda tua descendência não poderá ser contada.

20For all the land which thou seest I will give to thee and to thy seed for ever, and I will make thy seed as the sand of the sea: though a man may number the dust of the earth, yet thy seed shall not be numbered.

21Levante e ande no seu comprimento e na sua largura e conheça ela toda; porque para ti e tua descendência eu a dou." E Abram foi para Hebrom e habitou lá.

21Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and the breadth of it, and see it all; for to thy seed will I give it.' And Abram went to Hebron, and dwelt there.

22E neste ano veio Chedorlaomer, rei de Elam, e Amraphel, rei de Shinar, e Arioch, rei de Sellasar, e Tergal, rei de nações, e matou o rei de Gomorra. E o rei de Sodoma fugiu, e muitos caíram por feridas no vale de Siddim, próximo ao Mar Salgado.

22And in this year came Chedorlaomer, king of Elam, and Amraphel, king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Sellasar, and Tergal, king of nations, and slew the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Sodom fled, and many fell through wounds in the vale of Siddim, by the Salt Sea.

23E eles aprisionaram Sodoma e Adam e Zeboim, e prenderam também Ló, o filho do irmão de Abram, e tudo o que ele possuía, e foram para Dan.

23And they took captive Sodom and Adam and Zeboim, and they took captive Lot also, the son of Abram's brother, and all his possessions, and they went to Dan.

24E um que havia escapado veio e contou a Abram que o filho de seu irmão havia sido preso, e Abram armou seus servos...

24And one who had escaped came and told Abram that his brother's son had been taken captive and Abram armed his household servants...

25... para Abram, e de sua descendência o dízimo dos primeiros frutos ao Senhor, e o Senhor ordenou isso como ordenança para sempre que eles deveriam dar aos sacerdotes que servem diante dEle, que eles deveriam possuir isso para sempre.

25.... for Abram, and for his seed, a tenth of the first fruits to the Lord, and the Lord ordained it as an ordinance for ever that they should give it to the priests who served before Him, that they should possess it for ever.

26E para esta lei não há limite de dias; porque ele ordenou isto para as gerações para sempre: que eles devem dar ao Senhor o dízimo de tudo, das sementes, do vinho, do azeite, do gado, e das ovelhas.

26And to this law there is no limit of days; for He hath ordained it for the generations for ever that they should give to the Lord the tenth of everything, of the seed and of the wine and of the oil and of the cattle and of the sheep.

27E ele deu a Seus sacerdotes, para que comessem e bebessem com alegria diante dEle.

27And He gave it unto His priests to eat and to drink with joy before Him.

28E o rei de Sodoma veio a ele e dobrou-se diante dele e disse: "Nosso senhor Abram, dá para nós as vidas que tu resgataste, mas deixe ser seu o espólio."

28And the king of Sodom came to him and bowed himself before him, and said: 'Our Lord Abram, give unto us the souls which thou hast rescued, but let the booty be thine.'

29E Abram disse a ele: "Eu elevo minhas mãos ao Deus Altíssimo, de modo que nem um fio nem um cordão de sandália pegarei do que é teu para que não digas: Eu fiz Abram rico. Salvo somente o que os jovens homens comeram, e a parte dos homens que foram comigo: Aner, Eschol e Mamre. Estes devem levar suas porções."

29And Abram said unto him: 'I lift up my hands to the Most High God, that from a thread to a shoe-latchet I shall not take aught that is thine lest thou shouldst say, I have made Abram rich; save only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me —Aner, Eschol, and Mamre. These shall take their portion.'
