Jubileus 44

1E Israel iniciou sua jornada de Arã, sua casa, na lua nova do terceiro mês, e ele foi no caminho do Poço do Juramento,

1And Israel took his journey from Haran from his house on the new moon of the third month, and he went on the way of the Well of the Oath,

2e ele ofereceu um sacrifício ao Deus de seu pai Isaque no sétimo deste mês.

2and he offered a sacrifice to the God of his father Isaac on the seventh of this month.

3E Jacó lembrou-se do sonho que ele havia sonhado em Betel, e ele temeu descer ao Egito. E enquanto ele estava pensando em mandar uma palavra para José para vir a ele, e que ele não iria descer, ele permaneceu lá sete dias, se acaso ele teria uma visão sobre se ele deveria permanecer ou descer.

3And Jacob remembered the dream that he had seen at Bethel, and he feared to go down into Egypt. And while he was thinking of sending word to Joseph to come to him, and that he would not go down, he remained there seven days, if perchance he could see a vision as to whether he should remain or go down.

4E ele celebrou o festival da colheita dos primeiros frutos com grão velho, porque em toda a terra de Canaã não havia sequer uma mão cheia de semente, porque a fome estava sobre todos os animais selváticos, gado e aves, e também sobre os homens.

4And he celebrated the harvest festival of the first-fruits with old grain, for in all the land of Canaan there was not a handful of seed in the land, for the famine was over all the beasts and cattle and birds, and also over man.

5E no décimo sexto o Senhor apareceu a ele e disse a ele: "Jacó, Jacó!" e ele disse: "Aqui estou eu." E Ele disse a ele: "Eu sou o Deus de teus pais, o Deus de Abraão e Isaque. Não temas em descer ao Egito, porque eu farei de ti lá uma grande nação.

5And on the sixteenth the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, 'Jacob, Jacob'; and he said, 'Here am I.' And He said unto him: 'I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham and Isaac; fear not to go down into Egypt, for I will there make of thee a great nation

6Eu descerei contigo, e eu te trarei para cima, e nesta terra tu serás enterrado, e José colocará as mãos dele sobre teus olhos. Não temas. Desça ao Egito!"

6I will go down with thee, and I will bring thee up again, and in this land shalt thou be buried, and Joseph shall put his hands upon thy eyes. Fear not; go down into Egypt.'

7E seus filhos levantaram-se, e seus netos, e eles colocaram seu pai e suas posses em carroças.

7And his sons rose up, and his sons' sons, and they placed their father and their possessions upon wagons.

8E Israel levantou-se do Poço do Juramento no décimo sexto deste terceiro mês, e ele foi para a terra do Egito.

8And Israel rose up from the Well of the Oath on the sixteenth of this third month, and he went to the land of Egypt.

9And Israel sent Judah before him to his son Joseph to examine the Land of Goshen, for Joseph had told his brothers that they should come and dwell there that they might be near him.

17Zebulom e seus filhos; e esses eram os nomes de seus filhos: Serede, Elon, Jaleel. Quatro.

17Zebulon and his sons; and these are the names of his sons: Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel-four.
