Mateus 13

1Naquele dia, Jesus saiu de casa e se sentou junto ao mar.

1The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

2E ajuntaram-se perto dele tantas multidões, de maneira que ele entrou num barco e se sentou; e toda a multidão ficou na praia,

2And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

3E ele lhes falou muitas coisas por parábolas. Ele disse: Eis que o semeador saiu a semear.

3And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

4E enquanto semeava, caiu parte das sementes junto ao caminho, e vieram as aves e a comeram.

4And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

5E outra parte caiu entre pedras, onde não havia muita terra, e logo nasceu, porque não tinha terra funda.

5Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

6Mas quando o sol surgiu, queimou-se; e por não ter raiz, secou-se.

6And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

7E outra parte caiu entre espinhos, e os espinhos cresceram e a sufocaram.

7And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

8E outra parte caiu em boa terra, e rendeu fruto: um a cem, outro a sessenta, e outro a trinta.

8But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

9Quem tem ouvidos para ouvir, ouça.

9Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10Então os discípulos se aproximaram, e lhe perguntaram: Por que falas a eles por parábolas?

10And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11E ele lhes respondeu: Porque a vós é dado saber os mistérios do Reino dos céus, mas a eles não é dado.

11He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12Pois a quem tem, lhe será dado, e terá em abundância; mas a quem não tem, até aquilo que tem lhe será tirado.

12For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13Por isso falo a eles por parábolas; porque vendo, não veem; e ouvindo, não ouvem, nem entendem.

13Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14Assim neles se cumpre a profecia de Isaías, que diz: De fato ouvireis, mas não entendereis; De fato vereis, mas não percebereis.

14And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15Porque o coração deste povo está insensível; Com seus ouvidos dificilmente ouvem, e seus olhos fecharam; A fim de não haver que seus olhos vejam, seus ouvidos ouçam, Seus corações entendam, e se arrependam, E eu os cure.

15For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16Mas benditos são os vossos olhos, porque veem; e os vossos ouvidos, porque ouvem.

16But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

17Pois em verdade vos digo que muitos profetas e justos desejaram ver o que vós vedes, mas não viram; e desejaram ouvir o que vós ouvis, mas não ouviram.

17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

18Portanto, ouvi vós a parábola do semeador:

18Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

19Quando alguém ouve a palavra do Reino e não a entende, o maligno vem e arranca o que foi semeado em seu coração; este é o que foi semeado junto ao caminho.

19When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

20E o que foi semeado entre as pedras é o que ouve a palavra, e logo a recebe com alegria,

20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

21mas não tem raiz em si mesmo. Em vez disso, dura um pouco, mas quando vem a aflição ou a perseguição pela palavra, logo tropeça na fé.

21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

22E o que foi semeado entre os espinhos é o que ouve a palavra, mas a ansiedade com o tempo presente e a sedução das riquezas sufocam a palavra, e fica sem dar fruto.

22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

23Mas o que foi semeado em boa terra, este é o que ouve e entende a palavra, e o que dá e produz fruto, um a cem, outro a sessenta, e outro a trinta.

23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

24E ele lhes declarou outra parábola, dizendo: O Reino dos céus é semelhante a um homem que semeia boa semente em seu campo,

24Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25Mas, enquanto as pessoas dormiam, o inimigo dele veio, semeou joio entre o trigo, e foi embora.

25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26E, quando a erva cresceu e produziu fruto, então apareceu também o joio.

26But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27Então os servos do dono da propriedade chegaram, e lhe perguntaram: “Senhor, não semeaste boa semente no teu campo? De onde, pois, veio o joio?”

27So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28E ele lhes respondeu: “Um inimigo fez isto”. Em seguida, os servos lhe perguntaram: “Queres, pois, que vamos e o tiremos?”

28He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

29Ele, porém, lhes respondeu: “Não, para não haver que, enquanto tirais o joio, arranqueis com ele também o trigo.

29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30Deixai-os crescer ambos juntos até a colheita; e no tempo da colheita direi aos que colhem: ‘Recolhei primeiro o joio, e amarrai-o em molhos, para o queimarem; mas ao trigo ajuntai no meu celeiro’.”

30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

31Ele lhes propôs outra parábola: O Reino dos céus é semelhante a um grão de mostarda que alguém tomou e semeou no seu campo.

31Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:

32De fato, dentre todas as sementes, esta é a menor. Mas quando cresce, é a maior das hortaliças; e se torna tamanha árvore, que as aves do céu vêm e se aninham em seus ramos.

32Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

33Ele lhes disse outra parábola: O Reino dos céus é semelhante ao fermento que uma mulher tomou e misturou em três medidas de farinha, até que tudo ficasse fermentado.

33Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

34Tudo isto Jesus falou por parábolas às multidões. Sem parábolas ele não lhes falava,

34All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

35para que se cumprisse o que foi falado pelo profeta, que disse: Abrirei a minha boca em parábolas; Pronunciarei coisas escondidas desde a fundação do mundo.

35That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

36Então Jesus despediu as multidões, e foi para casa. Seus discípulos se aproximaram dele, e disseram: Explica-nos a parábola do joio do campo.

36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37E ele lhes respondeu: O que semeia a boa semente é o Filho do homem.

37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38E o campo é o mundo; e a boa semente, estes são os filhos do Reino; e o joio são os filhos do maligno.

38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39E o inimigo, que o semeou, é o diabo; e a colheita é o fim da era; e os que colhem são os anjos.

39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40Portanto, como o joio é colhido e queimado no fogo, assim também será no fim desta era.

40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

41O Filho do homem enviará seus anjos, e eles recolherão do seu Reino todas as causas do pecado, assim como os que praticam injustiça,

41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42e os lançarão na fornalha de fogo. Ali haverá choro e ranger de dentes.

42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43Então os justos brilharão como o sol, no Reino de seu Pai. Quem tem ouvidos para ouvir, ouça.

43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

44O Reino dos céus também é semelhante a um tesouro escondido num campo, que um homem, depois de achá-lo, escondeu. Então, em sua alegria, vai, vende tudo quanto tem, e compra aquele campo.

44Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

45O Reino dos céus também é semelhante a um homem negociante, que buscava boas pérolas.

45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:

46Quando este achou uma pérola de grande valor, foi, vendeu tudo quanto tinha, e a comprou.

46Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

47O Reino dos céus também é semelhante a uma rede lançada ao mar, que colhe toda espécie de peixes.

47Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

48E quando está cheia, os pescadores puxam-na à praia, sentam-se, e recolhem os bons em cestos, mas os ruins lançam fora.

48Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

49Assim será ao fim da era; os anjos sairão, e separarão dentre os justos os maus,

49So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

50e os lançarão na fornalha de fogo. Ali haverá choro e ranger de dentes.

50And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

51E Jesus lhes perguntou: Entendestes todas estas coisas? Eles lhe responderam: Sim, Senhor.

51Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.

52E ele lhes disse: Portanto todo escriba que se tornou discípulo no Reino dos céus é semelhante a um chefe de casa, que do seu tesouro tira coisas novas e velhas.

52Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

53E aconteceu que, quando Jesus acabou essas parábolas, retirou-se dali.

53And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.

54E vindo à sua terra, ensinava-os na sinagoga deles, de tal maneira que ficavam admirados, e diziam: De onde vêm a este tal sabedoria, e os milagres?

54And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?

55Não é este o filho do carpinteiro? E não se chama sua mãe Maria, e seus irmãos Tiago, José, Simão, e Judas?

55Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?

56Não estão todas as suas irmãs conosco? Ora, de onde vem a este tudo isto?

56And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?

57E ofenderam-se por causa dele. Mas Jesus lhes disse: Não há profeta sem honra, a não ser em sua terra, e em sua casa.

57And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.

58E não fez ali muitos milagres por causa da incredulidade deles.

58And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
