Neemias 7

1Sucedeu, pois, que, quando o muro já havia sido edificado, e já tinha posto as portas, e sido estabelecidos os porteiros, os cantores e os Levitas,

1Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,

2Mandei o meu irmão Hanani, e Hananias, chefe do palácio de Jerusalém (porque era um homem fiel e temente a Deus, mais que muitos),

2That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.

3E disse-lhes: Não se abram as portas de Jerusalém até que o sol aqueça; e enquanto ainda estiverem presentes, fechem as portas, e as trancai. E ponham-se guardas dos moradores de Jerusalém, cada um em sua guarda, e cada um diante de sua casa.

3And I said unto them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar them: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one to be over against his house.

4E a cidade era espaçosa e grande, porém pouca gente havia dentro dela, e as casas ainda não haviam sido reconstruídas.

4Now the city was large and great: but the people were few therein, and the houses were not builded.

5Então Deus pôs em meu coração que juntasse os nobres, os oficiais, e o povo, para que fossem registrados pela ordem de suas genealogias; e achei o livro da genealogia dos que haviam subido antes, e achei nele escrito o seguinte:

5And my God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,

6Estes são os filhos da província que subiram do cativeiro, dos que foram levados por Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, e que voltaram a Jerusalém e a Judá, cada um à sua cidade;

6These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;

7Os quais vieram com Zorobabel, Jesua, Neemias, Azarias, Raamias, Naamani, Mardoqueu, Bilsã, Misperete, Bigvai, Neum, Baaná. Este é o número dos homens do povo de Israel:

7Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, I say, of the men of the people of Israel was this;

8Os filhos de Parós, dois mil cento e setenta e dois;

8The children of Parosh, two thousand an hundred seventy and two.

9Os filhos de Sefatias, trezentos e setenta e dois;

9The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.

10Os filhos de Ara, seiscentos e cinquenta e dois;

10The children of Arah, six hundred fifty and two.

11Os filhos de Paate-Moabe, dos filhos de Jesua e de Joabe, dois mil oitocentos e dezoito;

11The children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.

12Os filhos de Elão, mil duzentos e cinquenta e quatro;

12The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

13Os filhos de Zatu, oitocentos e quarenta e cinco;

13The children of Zattu, eight hundred forty and five.

14Os filhos de Zacai, setecentos e sessenta;

14The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and threescore.

15Os filhos de Binui, seiscentos e quarenta e oito;

15The children of Binnui, six hundred forty and eight.

16Os filhos de Bebai, seiscentos e vinte e oito;

16The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and eight.

17Os filhos de Azgade, dois mil seiscentos e vinte e dois;

17The children of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty and two.

18Os filhos de Adonicão, seiscentos e sessenta e sete;

18The children of Adonikam, six hundred threescore and seven.

19Os filhos de Bigvai, dois mil e sessenta e sete;

19The children of Bigvai, two thousand threescore and seven.

20Os filhos de Adim, seiscentos e cinquenta e cinco;

20The children of Adin, six hundred fifty and five.

21Os filhos de Ater, de Ezequias, noventa e oito;

21The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety and eight.

22Os filhos de Hasum, trezentos e vinte e oito;

22The children of Hashum, three hundred twenty and eight.

23Os filhos de Bezai, trezentos e vinte e quatro;

23The children of Bezai, three hundred twenty and four.

24Os filhos de Harife, cento e doze;

24The children of Hariph, an hundred and twelve.

25Os filhos de Gibeom, noventa e cinco;

25The children of Gibeon, ninety and five.

26Os homens de Belém e de Netofá, cento e oitenta e oito;

26The men of Bethlehem and Netophah, an hundred fourscore and eight.

27Os homens de Anatote, cento e vinte e oito;

27The men of Anathoth, an hundred twenty and eight.

28Os homens de Bete-Azmavete, quarenta e dois;

28The men of Bethazmaveth, forty and two.

29Os homens de Quiriate-Jearim, Cefira e Beerote, setecentos e quarenta e três;

29The men of Kirjathjearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred forty and three.

30Os homens de Ramá e de Geba, seiscentos e vinte e um;

30The men of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty and one.

31Os homens de Micmás, cento e vinte e dois;

31The men of Michmas, an hundred and twenty and two.

32Os homens de Betel e de Ai, cento e vinte e três;

32The men of Bethel and Ai, an hundred twenty and three.

33Os homens da outra Nebo, cinquenta e dois;

33The men of the other Nebo, fifty and two.

34Os filhos do outro Elão, mil duzentos e cinquenta e quatro;

34The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

35Os filhos de Harim, trezentos e vinte;

35The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.

36Os filhos de Jericó, trezentos e quarenta e cinco;

36The children of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.

37Os filhos de Lode, de Hadide, e Ono, setecentos vinte e um;

37The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty and one.

38Os filhos de Senaá, três mil novecentos e trinta.

38The children of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred and thirty.

39Os sacerdotes: os filhos de Jedaías, da casa de Jesua, novecentos e setenta e três;

39The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three.

40Os filhos de Imer, mil e cinquenta e dois;

40The children of Immer, a thousand fifty and two.

41Os filhos de Pasur, mil duzentos quarenta e sete;

41The children of Pashur, a thousand two hundred forty and seven.

42Os filhos de Harim, mil dez e sete.

42The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.

43Os levitas: os filhos de Jesua, de Cadmiel, dos filhos de Hodeva, setenta e quatro.

43The Levites: the children of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, and of the children of Hodevah, seventy and four.

44Os cantores: os filhos de Asafe, cento e quarenta e oito.

44The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundred forty and eight.

45Os porteiros: os filhos de Salum, os filhos de Ater, os filhos de Talmom, os filhos de Acube, os filhos de Hatita, os filhos de Sobai, cento e trinta e oito.

45The porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, an hundred thirty and eight.

46Os servos do templo: os filhos de Zia, os filhos de Hasufa, os filhos de Tabaote,

46The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hashupha, the children of Tabbaoth,

47Os filhos de Queros, os filhos de Sia, os filhos de Padom,

47The children of Keros, the children of Sia, the children of Padon,

48Os filhos de Lebana, os filhos de Hagaba, os filhos de Salmai,

48The children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Shalmai,

49Os filhos de Hanã, os filhos de Gidel, os filhos de Gaar,

49The children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar,

50Os filhos de Reaías, os filhos de Rezim, os filhos de Necoda,

50The children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda,

51Os filhos de Gazão, os filhos de Uzá, os filhos de Paseia,

51The children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Phaseah,

52Os filhos de Besai, os filhos de Meunim, os filhos de Nefusesim,

52The children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephishesim,

53Os filhos de Baquebuque, os filhos de Hacufa, os filhos de Harur,

53The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,

54Os filhos de Baslite, os filhos de Meída, os filhos de Harsa,

54The children of Bazlith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,

55Os filhos de Barcos, os filhos de Sísera, os filhos de Tamá,

55The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Tamah,

56Os filhos de Nesias, os filhos de Hatifa.

56The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.

57Os filhos dos servos de Salomão: os filhos de Sotai, os filhos de Soferete, os filhos de Perida,

57The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,

58Os filhos de Jaala, os filhos de Darcom, os filhos de Gidel,

58The children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,

59Os filhos de Sefatias, os filhos de Hatil, os filhos de Poquerete-Hazebaim, os filhos de Amom.

59The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Amon.

60Todos os servos do templo, e filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.

60All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety and two.

61Também estes subiram de Tel-Melá, Tel-Harsa, Querube, Adom, e Imer, porém não puderam mostrar a casa de seus pais, nem sua linhagem, se eram de Israel:

61And these were they which went up also from Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shew their father's house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.

62Os filhos de Delaías, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Necoda, seiscentos e quarenta e dois.

62The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred forty and two.

63E dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaías, os filhos de Coz, os filhos de Barzilai, o qual tomara mulher das filhas de Barzilai, o gileadita, e chamou-se pelo nome delas.

63And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, which took one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name.

64Estes buscaram seu registro de genealogias, porém não se achou; por isso, como impuros, foram excluídos do sacerdócio.

64These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.

65E o governador lhes disse que não comessem das coisas mais santas, até que houvesse sacerdote com Urim e Tumim.

65And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.

66Toda esta congregação junta era quarenta e dois mil trezentos e sessenta,

66The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,

67Exceto seus servos e suas servas, que eram sete mil trezentos e trinta e sete; e tinham duzentos e quarenta e cinco cantores e cantoras.

67Beside their manservants and their maidservants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and they had two hundred forty and five singing men and singing women.

68Seus cavalos, setecentos e trinta e seis; seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco;

68Their horses, seven hundred thirty and six: their mules, two hundred forty and five:

69Os camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco; asnos, seis mil setecentos e vinte.

69Their camels, four hundred thirty and five: six thousand seven hundred and twenty asses.

70E alguns dos chefes das famílias fizeram doações para a obra. O governador deu para o tesouro mil dracmas de ouro, cinquenta bacias, e quinhentas trinta vestes sacerdotais.

70And some of the chief of the fathers gave unto the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasure a thousand drams of gold, fifty basons, five hundred and thirty priests' garments.

71E alguns dos chefes das famílias deram para o tesouro da obra, vinte mil dracmas de ouro, e duas mil e duzentas libras de prata.

71And some of the chief of the fathers gave to the treasure of the work twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pound of silver.

72E o que o resto do povo deu foi vinte mil dracmas de ouro, duas mil libras de prata, e sessenta e sete vestes sacerdotais.

72And that which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pound of silver, and threescore and seven priests' garments.

73E os sacerdotes, os Levitas, e os porteiros, os cantores, os do povo, os servos do templo, e todo Israel, habitaram em suas cidades. E vindo o mês sétimo, estando os filhos de Israel em suas cidades,

73So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
