Odes de Salomão 15

1Como o sol é a alegria dos que buscam a sua alvorada, Assim é a minha alegria o Senhor:

1As the sun is the joy to them that seek for its daybreak So is my joy the Lord:

2Porque ele é o meu Sol, e os seus raios me levantaram; E a sua luz dissipou toda a treva do meu rosto.

2Because He is my Sun, and His rays have lifted me up; And His light hath dispelled all darkness from my face.

3Nele adquiri olhos, E vi o seu santo dia:

3In Him I have acquired eyes, And have seen His holy day:

4Adquiri ouvidos, E ouvi a sua verdade.

4Ears I have acquired, And I have heard His truth.

5Adquiri o pensamento do conhecimento, E fui deleitado por ele.

5The thought of knowledge I have acquired, And I have been delighted by Him.

6O caminho do erro deixei e fui em direção a ele, E dele recebi a Salvação em abundância.

6The way of error I have left and I went towards Him, And I have received Salvation from Him abundantly.

7E segundo a sua generosidade ele me deu: E segundo a sua excelente beleza me fez.

7And according to His bounty He hath given to me: And according to His excellent beauty He hath made me.

8Revesti-me de incorrupção por meio do seu nome, E despi a corrupção pela sua graça.

8I have put on incorruption through His name, And I have put off corruption by His grace.

9A Morte foi destruída diante do meu rosto; E o Xeol foi abolido pela minha palavra.

9Death hath been destroyed before my face; And Sheol hath been abolished by my word.

10E subiu a vida imortal na terra do Senhor; E foi dada a conhecer aos seus fiéis; E foi dada sem medida a todos os que nele confiam. Aleluia.

10And there hath gone up deathless life in the Lord's land; And it hath been made known to His faithful ones; And hath been given without stint to all those that trust in Him. Hallelujah.
