Odes de Salomão 26

1Derramei louvor ao Senhor; Pois sou dele:

1I poured out praise to the Lord; For I am His:

2E direi o seu santo cântico, Pois o meu coração está com ele.

2And I will speak His holy song, For my heart is with Him.

3Pois a sua Harpa está nas minhas mãos, E as Odes do seu Repouso não se calarão.

3For His Harp is in my hands, And the Odes of His Rest shall not be silent.

4Clamarei a ele de todo o meu coração; Louvarei e exaltarei a ele com todos os meus membros.

4I will cry unto Him from my whole heart; I will praise and exalt Him with all my members.

5Pois desde o Oriente e até o Ocidente É o seu louvor:

5For from the East and even to the West Is His praise:

6E desde o Sul e até o Norte É a sua confissão;

6And from the South and even to the North Is His confession;

7E desde o cimo dos montes até o seu limite extremo É a sua perfeição.

7And from the top of the hills to their utmost bound Is His perfection.

8Quem pode escrever as Odes do Senhor, Ou quem as lê!

8Who can write the Odes of the Lord, Or who read them!

9Ou quem pode treinar a sua alma para a vida, Para que a sua alma seja salva?

9Or who can train his soul for life, That his soul may be saved?

10Ou quem pode repousar no Altíssimo, Para que da sua boca fale?

10Or who can rest on the Most High, That from His mouth he may speak?

11Quem é capaz de interpretar as maravilhas do Senhor? Pois aquele que interpreta seria dissolvido, E aquilo que foi interpretado permanecerá.

11Who is able to interpret the wonders of the Lord? For he who interprets would be dissolved, And that which was interpreted will remain.

12Pois basta conhecer e repousar; Pois no repouso estão de pé os cantores;

12For it suffices to know and to rest; For in the rest the singers stand;

13Como um rio que tem uma fonte abundante, E corre em auxílio dos que o buscam. Aleluia.

13Like a river which has an abundant fountain, And flows to the help of them that seek it. Hallelujah.
