Odes de Salomão 30

1Enchei para vós água da fonte viva do Senhor: Pois ela foi aberta para vós:

1Fill ye water for yourselves from the living fountain of the Lord: For it has been opened to you:

2E vinde todos vós, sedentos, e tomai uma bebida; E repousai junto à fonte do Senhor.

2And come all ye thirsty and take a draught; And rest by the fountain of the Lord.

3Pois é bela e pura; E dá repouso à alma.

3For fair it is and pure; And it gives rest to the soul.

4Muito mais doce é a sua água que o mel; E o favo das abelhas não se lhe compara.

4Much sweeter is its water than honey; And the honeycomb of bees is not to be compared with it.

5Pois brota dos lábios do Senhor, E do coração do Senhor é o seu nome.

5For it flows from the lips of the Lord, And from the heart of the Lord is its name.

6E veio ilimitada e invisível; E até ser posta no meio não a conheceram.

6And it came unlimited and invisible; And until it was set in the midst they did not know it.

7Bem-aventurados os que dela beberam; E por ela repousaram. Aleluia.

7Blessed are they who have drunk therefrom; And rested thereby. Hallelujah.
