Odes de Salomão 33

1A Graça de novo correu e deixou o Corruptor E desceu sobre ele para reduzi-lo a nada:

1Grace again ran and left the Corruptor And came down upon him to bring him to naught:

2E ele fez destruição completa diante dele E devastou toda a sua tropa:

2And he made utter destruction from before him And devastated all his array:

3E ficou sobre um cume elevado e clamou em voz alta De um extremo da terra ao outro;

3And he stood on a lofty summit and cried aloud From one end of the earth to the other;

4E atraiu a si todos os que lhe obedeciam: E não apareceu como uma pessoa má;

4And drew to him all those who obeyed him: And he did not appear as an evil person;

5Mas uma virgem perfeita ficou de pé Que proclamava, e clamava, e dizia:

5But a perfect virgin stood Who was proclaiming and crying and saying:

6Ó filhos dos homens, voltai-vos; E vós, suas filhas, vinde;

6O ye sons of men, return ye; And ye their daughters, come ye;

7E deixai os caminhos daquele Corruptor, E aproximai-vos de mim;

7And leave the ways of that Corruptor, And draw near unto me;

8E eu entrarei em vós E vos tirarei da destruição; E vos farei sábios nos caminhos da verdade.

8And I will enter into you And bring you forth from destruction; And I will make you wise in the ways of truth.

9Não sejais destruídos; Nem pereçais.

9Be not destroyed; Nor perish.

10Ouvi-me e sede salvos; Pois a graça de Deus eu vos declaro:

10Hear ye me and be saved; For the grace of God I am telling among you:

11E por meu intermédio sereis redimidos e tornados bem-aventurados: Eu sou o vosso juiz;

11And by my means you shall be redeemed and become blessed: I am your judge;

12E os que me vestiram não serão feridos: Mas possuirão a incorrupção no novo mundo.

12And they who have put me on shall not be injured: But they shall possess incorruption in the new world.

13Os meus escolhidos andaram em mim, E os meus caminhos eu darei a conhecer aos que me buscam; E eu os farei confiar no meu nome. Aleluia.

13My chosen ones have walked in me, And my ways I will make known to them that seek me; And I will make them to trust in my name. Hallelujah.
