Odes de Salomão 35

1O orvalho do Senhor destilou repouso sobre mim, E uma nuvem de paz ele fez subir sobre a minha cabeça;

1The dew of the Lord distilled rest upon me, And a cloud of peace it caused to rise over my head;

2Para que me guardasse continuamente; E tornou-se salvação para mim:

2That it might guard me continually; And it became salvation to me:

3Todos se abalaram e se espantaram; E saiu deles fumaça e um julgamento:

3Everybody was shaken and affrighted; And there came forth from them a smoke and a judgement:

4Mas eu me mantinha quieto nas fileiras do Senhor; Mais que sombra era ele para mim, e mais que apoio:

4But I was keeping quiet in the ranks of the Lord; More than shadow was He to me, and more than support:

5E fui carregado como uma criança por sua mãe; E ele me deu leite, o orvalho do Senhor.

5And I was carried like a child by its mother; And He gave me milk, the dew of the Lord.

6E cresci pela sua generosidade: E repousei na sua perfeição:

6And I grew great by His bounty: And I rested in His perfection:

7E estendi as minhas mãos no elevar da minha alma; E dirigi-me para o Altíssimo, E fui redimido com ele: Aleluia.

7And I spread out my hands in the lifting up of my soul; And I directed myself towards the Most High, And I was redeemed with Him: Hallelujah.
