Odes de Salomão 9

1Abri os vossos ouvidos; E eu vos falarei.

1Open your ears; And I will speak to you.

2Dai-me as vossas almas; Para que eu também vos dê a minha alma.

2Give me your souls; That I may also give you my soul.

3A Palavra do Senhor e os seus bons desígnios, O santo pensamento que ele pensou a respeito do seu Messias.

3The Word of the Lord and His good pleasures, The holy thought that He has thought concerning His Messiah.

4Pois na vontade do Senhor está a vossa vida; E o seu propósito é (a vossa) vida eterna; E o vosso fim é incorruptível.

4For in the will of the Lord is your life; And His intention is (your) everlasting life; And your end is incorruptible.

5Enriquecei-vos em Deus Pai, E recebei o propósito do Altíssimo; Sede fortes e sede redimidos pela sua graça.

5Be enriched in God the Father, And receive the intention of the Most High; Be strong and be redeemed by His grace.

6Pois anuncio paz, a vós, seus santos, Para que nenhum dos que ouvem caia na guerra.

6For I announce peace, to you His saints That none of those who hear may fall in war.

7E para que os que o conheceram não pereçam, E para que os que (o) recebem não sejam envergonhados.

7And that those who have known Him may not perish, And that those who receive (Him) may not be ashamed.

8Uma coroa eterna é a Verdade; Bem-aventurados os que a põem sobre as suas cabeças:

8An everlasting crown is Truth; Blessed are they who set it on their heads:

9Uma pedra de grande preço (ela é); E as guerras foram por causa da coroa.

9A stone of great price (it is); And the wars were on account of the crown.

10E a justiça a tomou, E a deu a vós.

10And righteousness hath taken it, And hath given it to you.

11Ponde a coroa na aliança verdadeira do Senhor; E todos os que venceram serão inscritos no seu livro.

11Put on the crown in the true covenant of the Lord; And all those who have conquered shall be inscribed in His book.

12Pois a sua inscrição é a vitória, que é vossa; E ela (a Vitória) vos vê diante de si e quer que sejais salvos. Aleluia.

12For their inscription is the victory, which is yours; And she (Victory) sees you before her, and wills that you shall be saved. Hallelujah.
