Salmos de Salomão 11

1Tocai em Sião a trombeta para convocar (os) santos, Fazei ouvir em Jerusalém a voz daquele que traz boas-novas; Pois Deus teve piedade de Israel ao visitá-los.

1Blow ye in Zion on the trumpet to summon (the) saints, Cause ye to be heard in Jerusalem the voice of him that bringeth good tidings; For God hath had pity on Israel in visiting them.

2Põe-te de pé no alto, ó Jerusalém, e vê os teus filhos, Do Oriente e do Ocidente, reunidos pelo Senhor;

2Stand on the height, O Jerusalem, and behold thy children, From the East and the West, gathered together by the Lord;

3Do Norte vêm na alegria do seu Deus, Das ilhas longínquas Deus os reuniu.

3From the North they come in the gladness of their God, From the isles afar off God hath gathered them.

4Altos montes abaixou ele em planície para eles; As colinas fugiram à sua entrada.

4High mountains hath He abased into a plain for them; The hills fled at their entrance.

5Os bosques lhes deram abrigo quando passavam; Toda árvore de bom odor Deus fez brotar para eles, Para que Israel passasse na visitação da glória do seu Deus.

5The woods gave them shelter as they passed by; Every sweet-smelling tree God caused to spring up for them, That Israel might pass by in the visitation of the glory of their God.

6Reveste-te, ó Jerusalém, das tuas vestes gloriosas; Prepara o teu manto santo; Pois Deus falou bem a respeito de Israel, para sempre e sempre.

6Put on, O Jerusalem, thy glorious garments; Make ready thy holy robe; For God hath spoken good concerning Israel, for ever and ever.

7Faça o Senhor o que falou a respeito de Israel e de Jerusalém; Levante o Senhor Israel pelo seu nome glorioso.

7Let the Lord do what He hath spoken concerning Israel and Jerusalem; Let the Lord raise up Israel by His glorious name.

8Esteja a misericórdia do Senhor sobre Israel para sempre e sempre.

8The mercy of the Lord be upon Israel for ever and ever.
