Salmos 102

1Oração do aflito, quando ele se viu desfalecido, e derramou sua súplica diante do SENHOR: Ó SENHOR, ouve minha oração; e que meu clamor chegue a ti.

1A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the LORD. Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.

2Não escondas de mim o teu rosto no dia da minha angústia; inclina a mim teu ouvidos; no dia em que eu clamar, apressa-te para me responder.

2Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

3Porque os meus dias têm se desfeito como fumaça; e meus ossos se têm se queimado como n um forno.

3For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.

4Meu coração, tal como a erva, está tão ferido e seco, que me esqueci de comer meu pão.

4My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.

5Por causa da voz do meu gemido, meus ossos têm se grudado à minha carne.

5By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

6Estou semelhante a uma ave no deserto, estou como uma coruja num lugar desabitado.

6I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

7Fico alerta e estou como um pardal solitário sobre o telhado.

7I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

8Os meus inimigos me insultam o dia todo; os que me odeiam juram maldições contra mim.

8Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.

9Porque estou comendo cinza como se fosse pão, e misturo minha bebida com lágrimas,

9For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,

10Por causa de tua irritação e tua ira; porque tu me levantaste e me derrubaste.

10Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

11Meus dias têm sido como a sombra, que declina; e eu estou secando como a erva.

11My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

12Porém tu, SENHOR, permaneces para sempre; e tua lembrança continua geração após geração.

12But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

13Tu te levantarás, e terás piedade de Sião; porque chegou o tempo determinado para se apiedar dela.

13Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

14Pois os teus servos se agradam de suas pedras, e sentem compaixão do pó de suas ruínas.

14For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

15Então as nações temerão o nome do SENHOR; e todos os reis da terra temerão a tua glória;

15So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.

16Quando o SENHOR edificar a Sião, e aparecer em sua glória;

16When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

17E der atenção à oração do desamparado, e não desprezar sua oração.

17He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

18Isto será escrito para a geração futura; e o povo que for criado louvará ao SENHOR;

18This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

19Porque ele olhará desde o alto de seu santuário; o SENHOR olhará desde os céus para a terra,

19For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;

20Para ouvir o gemido dos prisioneiros; para soltar aos sentenciados à morte.

20To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

21Para eles anunciarem o nome do SENHOR em Sião, e seu louvor em Jerusalém.

21To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

22Quando os povos se reunirem, e os reinos, para servirem ao SENHOR.

22When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

23Ele abateu minha força no caminho; abreviou os meus dias.

23He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.

24Eu dizia: Meu Deus, não me leves no meio dos meus dias; teus anos são eternos, geração após geração.

24I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.

25Desde muito antes fundaste a terra; e os céus são obra de tuas mãos.

25Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

26Eles se destruirão, porém tu permanecerás; e todos eles como vestimentas se envelhecerão; como roupas tu os mudarás, e serão mudados.

26They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

27Porém tu és o mesmo; e teus anos nunca se acabarão.

27But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

28Os filhos de teus servos habitarão seguros, e a semente deles será firmada perante ti.

28The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.
