Salmos 146

1Aleluia! Louva ao SENHOR, ó minha alma!

1Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

2Louvarei ao SENHOR durante toda a minha vida; cantarei louvores a meu Deus enquanto eu existir.

2While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

3Não ponhas tua confiança em príncipes; em filhos de homens, em quem não há salvação.

3Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

4O espírito dele s sai, e volta para sua terra; naquele mesmo dia seus pensamentos perecem.

4His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

5Bem-aventurado aquele que tem o Deus de Jacó como sua ajuda, cuja esperança está no SENHOR seu Deus;

5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

6Que fez os céus e a terra, o mar, e tudo o que neles há; que guarda a fidelidade para sempre.

6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

7Que faz juízo aos oprimidos, que dá pão aos famintos; o SENHOR solta aos presos.

7Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

8O SENHOR abre os olhos dos cegos; o SENHOR levanta aos abatidos; o SENHOR ama aos justos.

8The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

9O SENHOR guarda os estrangeiros; sustenta o órfão e a viúva; mas põe dificuldades ao caminho dos perversos.

9The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

10O SENHOR reinará eternamente. Ó Sião, o teu Deus reinará geração após geração. Aleluia!

10The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
