Salmos 22

1Salmo de Davi para o regente, como em “cerva da manhã”: Deus meu, Deus meu, por que me desamparaste? Longe estás de meu livramento e das palavras de meu gemido.

1To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

2Deus meu, eu clamo de dia, e tu não me respondes; também clamo de noite, e não tenho sossego.

2O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

3Porém tu és Santo, que habitas nos louvores de Israel.

3But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

4Nossos pais confiaram em ti; eles confiaram, e tu os livraste.

4Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

5Eles clamaram a ti, e escaparam do perigo; eles confiaram em ti, e não foram envergonhados.

5They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

6Mas eu sou um verme, e não um homem; sou humilhado pelos homens, e desprezado pelo povo.

6But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

7Todos os que me veem zombam de mim; abrem os lábios e sacodem a cabeça, dizendo:

7All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

8Ele confiou no “SENHOR”; agora que ele o salve e o liberte; pois se agrada nele.

8He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

9Tu és o que me tiraste do ventre; e o que me deu segurança, estando eu junto aos seios de minha mãe.

9But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

10Eu fui lançado sobre ti desde que saí d o útero; desde o ventre de minha mãe tu és meu Deus.

10I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

11Não fiques longe de mim, porque a minha angústia está perto; pois não há quem me ajude.

11Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

12Muitos touros me cercaram; fortes de Basã me rodearam.

12Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

13Abriram contra mim suas bocas, como leão que despedaça e ruge.

13They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

14Eu me derramei como água, e todos os meus ossos se soltaram uns dos outros; meu coração é como cera, e se derreteu por entre meus órgãos.

14I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

15Minha força se secou como um caco de barro, e minha língua está grudada no céu da boca; e tu me pões no pó da morte;

15My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

16Porque cães ficaram ao meu redor; uma multidão de malfeitores me cercou; perfuraram minhas mãos e meus pés.

16For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

17Eu poderia contar todos os meus ossos; eles estão me olhando, e prestando atenção em mim.

17I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

18Eles repartem entre si minhas roupas; e sobre minha vestimenta eles lançam sortes.

18They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

19Porém tu, SENHOR, não fiques longe; força minha, apressa-te para me socorrer.

19But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

20Livra minha alma da espada; e minha vida da violência do cão.

20Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.

21Salva-me da boca do leão; e responde-me dos chifres dos touros selvagens.

21Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

22Então eu contarei teu nome a meus irmãos; no meio da congregação eu te louvarei.

22I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

23Vós que temeis ao SENHOR, louvai a ele! E vós, de toda a semente de Jacó, glorificai a ele! Prestai culto a ele, vós de toda a semente de Israel.

23Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

24Porque ele não desprezou nem abominou a aflição do aflito, nem escondeu seu rosto dele; mas sim, quando o aflito clamou, ele o ouviu.

24For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

25Meu louvor será para ti na grande congregação; eu pagarei meus juramentos perante os que o temem.

25My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

26Os humilhados comerão, e ficarão fartos; louvarão ao SENHOR aqueles que o buscam; vosso coração viverá para sempre.

26The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

27Todos os extremos da terra se lembrarão disso, e se converterão ao SENHOR; e todas as gerações das nações adorarão diante de ti.

27All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

28Porque o reino pertence ao SENHOR; e ele governa sobre as nações.

28For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations.

29Todos os ricos da terra comerão e adorarão, e perante o rosto dele se prostrarão todos os que descem ao pó, e que não podem manter viva sua alma.

29All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

30A descendência o servirá; ela será contada ao Senhor, para a geração seguinte.

30A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

31Chegarão, e anunciarão a justiça dele ao povo que nascer, porque ele assim fez.

31They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
