Salmos 6

1Salmo de Davi para o regente, com instrumentos de cordas, uma harpa de oito cordas: SENHOR, não me repreendas na tua ira; e não me castigues em teu furor.

1To the chief Musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

2Tem misericórdia de mim, SENHOR; porque eu estou enfraquecido; cura-me, SENHOR, porque meus ossos estão afligidos.

2Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

3Até minha alma está muito aflita; e tu, SENHOR, até quando?

3My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?

4Volta, SENHOR; livra minha alma; salva-me por tua bondade.

4Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.

5Porque na morte não há lembrança de ti; no Xeol quem te louvará?

5For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

6Já estou cansado do meu gemido; toda a noite eu inundo a minha cama; com minhas lágrimas molho meu leito.

6I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

7Meus olhos estão desolados de mágoa, e têm se envelhecido por causa de todos os meus adversários.

7Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

8Sai para longe de mim, todos vós praticantes de maldade; porque o SENHOR já ouviu a voz do meu choro.

8Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

9O SENHOR tem ouvido a minha súplica; o SENHOR aceitará a minha oração.

9The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.

10Todos os meus inimigos se envergonharão e ficarão muito perturbados; voltarão para trás, e repentinamente se envergonharão.

10Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
